We were in Costa Teguise five years ago and loved it. This week we just got back from our first visit to Tenerife, staying at the Med Palace, and I have to say we didn't like it at all. The hotel was great, but the resort was far too big and busy. Costa Teguise, by contrast, was far more personal; you'd meet the same people every night. It was like one big party. Also, the wind made the sun very bearable in Costa Teguise. And because most hotels are all inclusive, bars and restaurants tend to keep their prices low, the best of all worlds. Thanks, Colin; it's nice to see it again, and I look forward to seeing the rest of your Lanzarote videos.

I always say it simply depends what you want out of your holiday & youre totally correct, Costa Teguise is more personal & compact. I prefer a much livelier scene - i’ve been in Puerto Del Carmen this evening & it was much more to my liking. That said, the isalnd as a whole is very well kept & the streets are amzingly clean. And there are some stunning beaches & backdrops. I will definitly return.
Were going to lanzarote for christmas. Never been before. Last 2 christmases we went tenerife and the 5 before that fuertaventura. Be interesting to see how different this island is. Great informative video to give us a heads up. Thanks👍

I like the Canary islands because they are all different and go to them all in turn. They offer different experiences and if they were all the same it would be quite boring. Thats whats good about them.

The resort is called Costa Teguise - pronunced tee-gee-zee - its known as breezy teguise! Like a wind tunnel.

We stayed at the Barcelo it was lovely. but it is a very quiet place.
A lot more chilled & quieter than what I’m used to but still enjoyable 👍
