I love their boats, but their tops seem like such an afterthought. They're so thin and look like a sheet of plywood. Every other manufacturer has really nice tops with thicknesses, angles, and unique shapes. The top ruins the boat for me, but maybe I'm the odd one out.

Yep. That's what really lets me down on the ME boats too. Great hulls and so much cool stuff. But I can't look past the top designs.
A Midnight with the top out of a Mystic. Now there's a winner if there ever was one.
