- Sorry Guys! My toddler smashed my mic and I didn't realize how bad it sounds! Gonna need a new one eventually
In the last video, we configured GNS3 to test out the SD-WAN solution on the FortiGate.
Now, we go forward and migrate our old ECMP solution using Zones to the newer, more feature rich SD-WAN option. Lastly, we add additional WAN links to the SD-WAN to demonstrate its ease. Наука
Just a heads up for anyone watching this video and using version 6.2 and above..... You can now add used wan interfaces with references to them into an sdwan config, you dont need to delete and recreate anything. you can also just modify your existing 0.0.0.0 default route from using wan1 or wan2 to sdwan. this way you should be able to migrate to an sdwan setup with no downtime involved.
Great job! Thanks for showing us.
Thanks for the good video, I like the challenge to keep the ping going :) I did the same and only dropped a few while messing up a policy route and cutover.
Thank you for these videos!
This guy is amazing!
Thank you so much!
Good work, thanks alot
WOw, this is awesome. Lots of fun to try at home.. Just some feedback Devin...from minute 18:00 you seems to had moved your mic or something, cause I couldn't heard anything..
Letting you know, just in case. :)
Thx again for this awesome videos
material is very good other than mic issue. I have question how you run all this on GNS3 ? ALso for fortinet did you buy licenses, can we get free demo licenses? Thanks
Sir do you have a video tutorial about sdwan between 2 branch
Hi
I am trying to enable modem-Interface connected to USB to FG
it keeps disabled.
did anyone faced this issue?
we have to change intefaces in ipsec vpn also or not needed?
If you left the default routes directly to the interface ?
If you're using the SD-WAN, I believe you cannot have multiple default gateways. It just won't let you do it. I have been playing around with 6.2.3 And they do make migrating to the SD-WAN a lot easier since you can add a used interface into the configuration before assigning the default gateway to the SD-WAN. You can check it out in the playlist fortigate 6.2 demos.
could you not have edited the existing default route?
Yeah that was one of those lessons learned. I could have just picked the quad and selected the SDWAN interface and the cut over would have been a lot quicker. that's the price I pay for not practicing or trying out my videos before I record them. But you're absolutely right man that's the way you'd want to do it.
helpfully
It is required nating in SDwan policy rule
explain seriuosly please
Good video, poor voice
