We used the DJI Mic 2-Person Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System for the street sounds, and we used Sennheiser AVX-ME2 Wireless Lav for Ira's interviews.
Nice photos. I haven’t seen a lot of photos of Cuba before. I have many friends that have been fortunate to leave Cuba. Now I see more why they feel so blessed to be in the USA. Very sad. People work so hard there. What a rough life. God bless them… Sony camera equipment cost more than some of these Cubans make in a lifetime in Cuba.
I agree. I was crying thinking of my grandparents that lived there their whole lives, and the one who is still there at 101. The resilience of the people there is incredible.
I am very very impressed ! Beautiful images and excellent explanation about the how and who. But also great camera work and beautifully edited. Thanks so much for sharing although this makes former good videos I have seen about Cuba a bit mediocre ;-)
Where do you want to take environmental portraits?
Another great video. Being at ease with people shows in your photographs.

Beautiful images. But, doesn’t the posing undermine naturalness? I can see why Ira Block’s engaging personality works for him.
Sometimes you pose people, other times you wait and capture moments. It depends on what type of images you are trying to get.
