I worked at Universal during that time. When they closed it I got many of the items from the ride. The TV Monitors had some burn-in from the video played in the queue lines. The TV sets were CRT so the burn-in was a surprise.

So, for anyone that is curious of the rest of the story, the fan question about Tom's song "Stop Asking me the Question" was actually submitted by me. I did indeed bring him Peanut M&M's on Friday and he DID speak (no guitar and guess he didn't want to do Karaoke) the whole of the first verse and the chorus then gave me a button and called me a butthead. Was the best day of my life.

This was great Jay! As a BTTF fan I really enjoyed watching this! See the cast of BTTF again was so cool. All the cosplayers looked amazing. When I went to MegaCon in 2019 I stayed at the Rosen Centre Hotel. It was a nice Hotel.

I loved the Back To The Future Game cinematics not long ago, it was like the sequels or continuation of the story we all wanted. It was great for those whom not seen the movie cut from the game. Highly recommend.

28:33… BACK TO THE FUTURE Ride! Seriously, as much as I enjoy Simpsons Ride at Universal, they should’ve NEVER torn down the BttF-Ride! Just like JAWS, that specific ride should’ve been holy ground and never allowed to be touched! Back to the Future is absolutely among the crown-jewls of Universal classic films (it doesn’t get more classic) and the films have only gotten more and more popular over time. And just like Tom says during the panel, that ride-footage was actually crafted by true artist whom made a miniature-set of that world/city. Unlike The Simpsons Ride, which is an all-out computer-generated thing. I’m so bummed out, that I missed the chance to try the BttF-Ride, which closed like 5-6 years prior to my first visit (I’m all the way from Denmark) They should completely demolish that super-duper-WEAK (not to mention soulless) Fast and Furious ride, and RE-build Back to the Future instead! 🫶
