what measurements, how much will i lose in the bends.

i make hem 3/4" on both sides. so you will loose 1 and 1/2 inch of the material in total. you can make 1/2" hem but in my case the brake has 3/4 lip so i don't need to waste much time when i do those bents.

Aluminum is ok...but u put a dent in it than what....vinyl is better
