      are you binge watching the whole build series ;-) we like Binky, but geez fossil fuels will be unavailable by the time they actually finish that car, and it's still 2 litres and 4 cylinders short of a proper engine!

    Could you do an in-depth tutorial on which wires go to where I'm looking to do this to my first gen ls400 and your videos have been a major inspiration to my ls400 drift build

      Well the problem is that other than the indicators, side light dimming, fuel gauge and +ve/-ve feed, all the data is taken straight off the Haltech ECU CAN feed, which won't help you if you are running the stock ECU. I wouldn't know how to wire it into a stock LS400 I'm afraid as the standard car doesn't have a CAN system.

      I think you can wire each sensor/function in separately using a standalone IQ3 dash, but its a lot of work and wiring compared to using CAN. I'd suggest you download the IQ3 install manual from the Haltech / Racepak website and that has the details and wiring diagrams.
