Fr anthony, what about when it says in the case of sexual immorality? Particularly when a man cheats on his wife? I have seen a man not apologize after getting caught, but calm his wife down with the every man cheats when he is far away from his wife. I seen her grow bitter and now she wants a divorce. I feel for her too but now you say don't be on the side of divorce. It seems the man is not repentant but only concerned with the fact he got caught.
This seems to be that case where divorce is an option as Fr. Anthony mentioned in a previous video. Christ said that sexual immorality is a cause for divorce, in this case a third person has been included in the relationship and thus breaks it. Fr. Anthony is speaking more to the cases were people want a divorce due to normal conflicts that living with someone brings. Cheating and abuse, however, is a completely different story.
I recommend they go see a priest to try and help them out. The poor wife :(. From what I hear here, this is a case where divorce is completely justified. That being said, they should go and see a priest to provide them with guidence and help the wife to heal.
Thank you Father Anthony for this series on marriage it has been a great help!
