Exactly Homelander thought he could talk to the 'elites' like he talks to his followers, but they know the game, they play it and they rig it. They can see the BS. Edgar told Homelander this before. You just can't do what you want, you have to have a plan and one that works. Watching this episode, I realized the Starlight's diminished powers actually look a lot like Firecracker's abilities. So, I'm thinking Firecracker's powers are also being held back by her trauma and self doubt. If you look up the side effects for that medication, increased breast milk production is one of them (some people on Reddit called this week's ago because they searched that up). @emilytretyak2534 2 дня назад +1

@@stormtraitor6545 Im still on the fence about if it was supposed to be funny or not. The writers are (usually) very good at what they do. I originally thought that the writers knew that doing a full on r@pe scene would be too far. So instead they just turned most of it into more of a fringe BDSM/gross thing to give the audience a level of discomfort that was somewhat similar as a r@pe, pushing the boundaries, but without fully crossing that line (notice I said r@pe because it was DEFINITELY SA. R can sometimes depend on different peoples interpretations of the word but I think everyone can agree that what happened was unwanted by Hughie, thus an ass@ult, and obviously s3xual in nature.) I didn’t realize it could be being played for laughs until I saw SEVERAL reaction videos laughing at it (some from comedic enjoyment, some from obvious discomfort). So maybe I’m entirely wrong on the writers intent of the scene. However all that being said it still felt like a majority of it was way too much and went too far either way. That scene of Hughie strapped down with that device in his mouth while Tek Knight is about to “make another hole for him to fuck” is easily the most fucked up thing I’ve seen in a very long time. That’s some Human Centipede type shit and I am NOT down for it.
