Hi Terry! How is your house project? I hope everything is going smoothly according to your plan! Thank you for the ship video review in between your house project activities! If there is no radical changes at t9 and X for this new upcoming german destroyer line, I am 140% sure that I will still stick with my Mogador and Kléber 😁 I am still trying to collect enough silver and blueprints to fully upgrade my stock Kléber, I finished the grind from the Mogador 2 weeks ago but as always there is a severe bottleneck in the silver and blueprints inflow that hinders me from my final destination. I wish one day wg discard that idiotic blueprint system and change the upgrade system completely to blue xp-based just like the way it is in WoTblitz. Regarding new ship lines, personally I do not like the way they release new lines in such too short intervals. That creates severe silver and especially blueprint supply problems. I understand that they want to keep players interested in the game, but the increasing silver coins and blueprints shortage are quite frustrating to deal with.
Old Z-23 with 150s is still much better than this thing tbh, she has better guns, more torp power, better mobility and hydro, of course there's no smoke and the torps don't have as long range but when you consider those advantages Z-23 have, she's more fun as well as better at dealing with DDs, and the thing also got buffed with those 128s. Just like always, a new line gets overhyped. Only Schultz and Elbing surprised me for having actually decent DPM, whereas Z-31 and Maerker are as shit as they are supposed to be. Btw the gun setup was the same between type 1936A and type 1937J ships, except that the Germans were even worse at designing ships by not using the more efficient twin turret on a ship twice as big as a Tribal class which had equal chace of outgunning it

I remember Wargaming announcing these dds in early January(?) 2021 and was actually excited as these would come to blitz at a later date. Do to reveiws and lack of Sonar, I am disappointed on what these became in game.
Great review. But a new line without interest in blitz. Perhaps good in 12vs12 who are like the PC game... But who wants a line only for one monthly event... Terry, have you try the great battles in 12vs12? To me, that's become my favorite battle event.

Ich hab angefangen alle Schiffe zu googeln und per ausschlussverfahren die für mich grundsätzlich interessanten Schiffe auf insgesamt 17 eingegrenzt. Die drei Tipps von dir sind ganz oben dabei. Allerdings komme auch ich immer wieder zum neuen holländischen Schiff zurück. Ich Frage mich, ob das Schiff nicht etwas OP ist? Man kann ja mehr oder weniger alles dodgen, shells, torps, planes. Aber diesen airstrike? Wenn jemand den richtig gut trifft, sich versteckt hält, bestenfalls unerreichbar hinter Inseln, ist dann die Zeven de Provinciën nicht ein wenig overpowered? Wie soll man denn dem airstrike ausweichen, hilft da eventuell AA?
Ja, das ist ein etwas problematisches Schiff. Der airstrike hat um die 7 Sekunden Vorwarnzeit, allerdings habe ich noch nicht gesehen, wie das vom Zielschiff her aussieht. Zerstörer oder Kreuzer können relativ leicht ausweichen, Schlachtschiffe eher nicht. Die beste Verteidigung ist, DZPs so schnell wie möglich zu versenken. Schwere Kreuzer werden wahrscheinlich die beste Option sein, oder Zerstörer, allerdings schwieriger, weil sie nahe ran müssen. Die Reichweite sind nur 9km, d.h. wenn man unter Beschuss gerät, und kein Ziel hat, ist es ratsam, sich zurückzuziehen. Alles Theorie, ich muss da noch mehr testen. Ist aber kein Zufall, dass die so beliebt ist...

Ob AA vll zukünftig dagegen eingesetzt wird, der damage stark genervt oder die Reichweite weiter begrenzt wird. 🤔 Bin gespannt. 🤗 Danke für die Antwort. Muss zugeben, dieses ausarbeiten und vergleichen aller Schiffe ist anstrengend, aber auch sehr interessant. Was gunboat style angeht, ist glaube ich echt die Bayard absolut genial, wobei ich die de Grasse sozusagen als kleinen Bruder einschätzen würde. To be honest…I’m disappointed. The torp reload, the guns, the absence of a hydro and smokes just goes completely off theme with the German dd line. Idk how these will effect the game, but I may not even grind it
The have a strange gameplay. BB manouverability... but i like the names. Something unnecassary long no one can pronounce (and i am german. But wtf "Maerker"??!!) Just when i thought i understand your upload scedule everything gets ruined because in germany we have this silly "chance clock by a hour" thing
Just ignoring the stats of the paper ships. I actually like seeing the proposal designs come to “life”. As for the stats of the ship, I’m not excited for this split line but I know I’ll work the line.
The People are too polite and shy to decline the last minute torpedo reservations ,as they are an old couple who worked hard and long tine to cross one cap to other to greet and kiss thier hulls 😂
To me looks like its the scout cruiser trap again, just dont work in blitz mechanics.. like super heavy cruisers.. not useful.. 50knot torps .. the shipskills, gunreload.. omg lol 😝 Decided to grind amalfi to get venezia so yes please more easy targets 😂😂

It brings me joy to see somebody get hit by the sea mines of these ships. I still can imagine how people get hit by these slow torps.
