...y después de escuchar esta maravilla, me he quedado sin palabras, sin respiración, sin fuerza, sin aliento, sin ideas y hasta sin dinero... No puede haber ser humano ni divino capaz de componer esta fuga y que las fuerzas de la gravedad de la Tierra no varíen su rumbo. Gracias, Daniel, se nota que disfrutas interpretando al Maestro. Gracias, Herr Bach, después de esta experiencia me siento mejor persona... (todavía no salgo de ni asombro...)

I have becom critical of organists who play Bach totally legato with little or no phrasing and strictly on the metronome tick. I wonder if this performance goes a little too far in non-legato but still with metronome ticking away relentlessl. Is there a happy medium? Surely JSB was not an inflexible man. His music is always dramatic and meaningful - so why no give performance that have such robotic, unfeeling qualities?
