This is adorable! I cannot wait to try this out for my friend's baby shower. For those that want to know. 35 diaper's total(16 per wheel and 3 for the seat/spacer). They are Target brand size 2. :)
Thom, I just love the fact that you do not use any glue on your diaper cakes. You are the best teacher of how to make diaper cakes with love. That way the mother receiving the diaper cake can actually use everything.
I really like how Thom talks and explains every thing herself. I understand her accent just fine and no translation is needed.
People need to stop being so rude. I'm sure he's not talking to be rude. He's more than likely just trying to help those who watch that isn't sure what she's saying!

I love this idea, I will be making one for the next baby shower I have for my friend's baby boy. It is different from the usual diaper cake, and you can use larger diapers so the new mom can leave it together for a while. Wonderful job, Thom!

Great gift! I love how you pay attention to the little details (ie, rings to hide bands, blinkers, etc.). Everything s tucked and pieced so neatly. WOW!!!! I've seen lots of motorcycle diaper cakes but this is by far the best!!!!!!! So many more details others have overlooked. We understand she has an accent but it's ok let her speak!!!! You guys are great can't wait for someone to have a little boy so I can try this. Keep the ideas coming.

We were too late for a baby shower for my cousin because the baby wanted to come so early, but I made this model for her new born baby boy and they fell in love with it. Thank you very much sweetsugarsheep. You can get rubber bands at many places, Walmart, the Dollar stores, michaels and even staples or office depot as junior062110 listed below. Office Depot sells the colored rubber bands in a ball! any type will work. Thanks for your comment, good luck!
Do you ever use cloth diapers for your projects. My daughter uses cloth diapers and have seen some projects for them but they are few and far between to find. I bet though with your creativity you have some great ideas you could share with us?! Thanks
