Pisces sun with venus in Aquarius. I resonated with the whole tendency to go against the norm but not for the sake of being different. I naturally gravitate towards things that friends or family never took much interest in. Although career wise I tried to go the conventional route and burned out. After my parents died, I started to follow my heart more. I wouldn't say I love by proxy if I feel connected to someone. Proxy is when I'm with someone who is emotionally unavailable so I try to fix the relationship. Most people are emotionally avoidant. It's actually pretty hard to find people who aren't. I do recognize the over giving in order to "matter" mostly because a part of me feels guilty for having desires/interests that aren't popular. It is purely out of the need to feel connected but unfortunately a lot of times it's not a genuine or healthy one because finding something substantial doesn't feel attainable.
I feel represented in this. Coming from another Pisces sun with Venus in Aquarius. I didn't want to be weird or "the odd one out" I just always was. I stood and sometimes still stand out, it's just what it is.
I just wonder if it's normal for this placement to love so deeply. I can't help it. Falling in love for me, the little to no times when it happens, I just feel the emotions so strongly it hurts

As a Taurus Venus cancer moon that just got out of a 2 year off and on relationship with a Gemini moon Aquarius venus. This resonated with me so much, as I try to understand who exactly she was through these 2 signs. This video explained perfectly what I was confronted with. Your point at the end about, people who are willing to hear you out and confront your needs, with you, are pushed away due to you being scared to connect and confront those needs yourself, completely resonates with our situation. I tried to connect with and help her face herself, but who she is as a person on top of the people she decides to surround herself with, made this nearly impossible. I think that our sense of low self worth doesn't come from us innately.
I have Mars, Saturn, Venus and Moon next to each other in Aquarius.
Since my early teenage years I started finding many things that people normally do as boring. I was bored with the conversations and willfully decided I will not spend more time with those friends. I preferred to be alone and read books cause they stimulated my mind so much and made me happy. Then I met my first really best friend and I loved her deeply because we could have interesting conversations and I wasn't bored with her. Then I started being part of another group of friends with whom I tried to have the same interesting conversations but now they were dissatisfied with that cause they didn't want that type of hanging out. So again I decided to separate from them. Again I had that friend and another one and I had books that I could spend days reading and deeply enjoying myself (stellium in 3rd house). We are different from other people. Because of that we reject ourselves and try to change ourselves to fit. I know a lot of Aquarian energy people. Its everywhere the same. Then the Saturn return came. I fully accepted that I will spend hours talking about reincarnation etc and I'll be aloof and not respond to messages when I'm in my "moods" and guess what - everyone around me fully accepted me also, for the first time I can say.
More than that I became free, stopped judging myself because I will cry for days because of people dying in war, but I will lack empathy for some regular people problems.
I was the one putting the needs of others always before mine, because I thought there is something wrong with me and I shouldn't be different.
But then self acceptance happened and now I'm so free flowing in every relationship and so honest and ME, even if that triggers the shit out of people.
The most important thing for any Aquarian energy person is first, you are different and there is absolutely nothing wrong with you that's why you should stay who you are and have bravery to connect with other people on and authentic level, not by trying to be "as everyone else".
Really astute analysis, mama. It's pretty spot on in terms of a younger V Aqua. I was a lot like this in my 20's. maybe even early 30's. Outwardly opinionated, contrarian. Know it all vibes. I'm happy to say, though, for any younger V Aquas wondering, it can and likely does change as you mature. Knowledge is still there, but the egoic attitude drops and the typical Aqua love for everyone becomes more true and less detached, rather than just a belief or mental concept.

I would think that Aquarius Venus is somehow like Gemini Venus but more inspired when necessary . If you can pinpoint a Gemini Venus than take those attributes in to exaltation and you have Aquarius Venus .

aquarius is not weird. It is a fixed and willful, stubborn sign like scorpio, taurus and leo, only more interested in social life, intellectual discussions, new ideas, tech, friends and original people, also often likes tatoos and piercings, but is deeo down sensual.
Because of the fixed sign and in vedic turning to capricorn venus, the tropical aquarous seems more stable and has also traditional views people ignore too see. To get new ideas and being original means to be mindful and liberal too, building own life, purpose, social circles, but also like to feel integrated in society

I am curious on your thoughts about Taylor Swift. She has this placement and I have always interpreted it as her being infatuated with the ‘idea’ of love but struggling with the reality of partnership and the less romantic aspects of maintaining intimacy between two people.
As an Aquarius Rising, I find that Aquarius placements are either treated like ‘ideas’ by other people because they tend to be focused on progress and acting out of their higher self and therefore they represent someone to aspire to be, (Zendaya comes to mind for me) but they can also get caught up in their own aspirational vision of what something or someone could be, which leads to a level of detachment and aloofness towards the current reality.
Anyway, just curious if you have any thoughts on how this placement might be playing out in Ms. Swift’s chart! Thanks!
I have so many thoughts on Ms. Taylor Swift and her Venus and her chart and her everything! I really love how a lot of her music really captures that anxiety of really wanting closeness with someone but fear of communicating that at the same time. I think it's really expressive of what I described in this video about Venus in Aquarius seeming aloof and detached but deep down harboring a lot of need for connection and fear of being vulnerable. I think Taylor Swift has also dated some pretty shit guys in her day, like these classically Saturn and Uranian, older, emotionally unavailable guys that probably have even more problems behind the scenes. Her Venus in barely aspected, the most compelling aspect to me being her moon inconjunct her Venus. That's a tough aspect that can indicate having a difficulty having her emotional needs met in relationships by putting other people's needs before hers, which is already a pretty Venus in Aquarius thing to do. I think her Mars in Scorpio is also pretty present in her music. Even though it's in a squaring sign to her Venus they actually make a sextile because they're at such different degrees. I could really go on and on here but I'll leave it at that lol. Oh wait, last thing, also "You Belong with Me" is the most "not like other girls" song there ever was, and that attitude is a classic read on Venus in Aquarius.
@@NinaBAstrology Ok, yes! I am so glad that you brought up her Moon/Venus inconjunction. Especially since her Moon is in Cancer, that need for emotional closeness and support is so strong yet she, at least in the past, was just so smitten by the idea of these men and the idea of what the relationship could be, but that led her to completely dismiss her own emotions and needs within the partnership and also attract partners who are dismissive of that Cancer energy. They loved her for her Aquarius side, but couldn’t offer anything substantial to her Cancer Moon.
I also think that inconjunctions have either a chasing manifestation or they cause us to runaway from one of the planets involved. I think Taylor has been both chasing love and running away from her actual needs, but also vice versa because that quincunx between her Moon and Venus just won’t let her scratch that itch, if that makes sense.
And yes that Scorpio Mars comes out in all of her music, lol. I mean she even has a lyric that goes, ‘there is nothing I do better than revenge’. Totally agree about ‘You Belong With Me’ being a great description of Aquarius Venus. I could go on and on about her chart, too, but I know you are busy with your other series so don’t mind me, lol!

Wow this is straight up me in my relationships like often I either have friends who depend on me and then leave or a small comfortable community who can provide practical help to me as well as being a friend. My romantic are exactly as you've described. I thought my complicatedness came from being a Cap sun Pisces Moon and I never knew Venus was this impactuful! Literally all my attachment and emotional things and worth are explained in my Aq venus!!!. I genuinely don't know what placements to look for though in others who will not hurt this Venus of mine, I'd love a recommendation of what Venus I'd get on with in a balanced, caring or fun relationship. 💗
People sleep on the depth of the meaning of Venus in Aquarius! There's no guarantee that someone with a particular venus sign might have other things in their chart that interrupt the flow of what could be a balanced, caring, and fun placement. People are complicated, as are birth charts! It sounds like on it's face that Libra Venus fits most what you're describing, but it can be dangerous to dictate your love life based on that, so pay attention to how someone makes you feel and how much they're aligning with your values regardless of their sign. That's my two cents!
