That Merek Malik goal was after 12 or 13 tries from each team for the shoot out at the end of the game, the NYR coach at the time said he had hardly anyone left to take a shot, that's why that play is crazy.

I'm trying to figure out how Federer returning a lob between his legs is "creative' when players like Sabatini and Noah were doing that back in the 80's.
Cross-court winner to set up match point for a spot in the US Open finals, and it involved the two GOATs of the sport. I've never even heard of Sabatini, wasn't he a golfer? And Noah is more famous for his kid being in the NBA. Not sure what you're on about
@@jimgray3346 No, Gabriela Sabatini was not a golfer. She was a successful singles and doubles player in the 80s and 90s, making the semifinals of the Austrailan and French open 9 times, the finals of Wimbledon once, and winning the US Open. Yannick Noah was also a successful tennis player in the 80's and 90's, winning multipl tournaments, including the French Open and captaining his team to a Davis Cup victory. That Ochocinco play might not happen if the defender hits with the shoulder and wraps. Instead he just dives towards him with the shoulder. Everyone wants to make the big hit instead of using a proper tackling technique.

If the player contacts the puck below his shoulders (with his stick), it’s a legal play. With one exception: The player has to contact the puck below the crossbar if the puck subsequently goes ‘on goal’ or into the net. In this case, Trevor has to keep the puck below his shoulders since he is passing it. Which he does. The shooter has to keep his stick and the puck below the crossbar since he is shooting it on net. So no high stick infraction.
@ sorry, I’m fully aware of the rules. I’m simply stating that I do not believe Milano kept his stick below the crossbar when he made contact. It looks well above to me
Bartolo colons behind the back throw to first not in here. Was that not the smoothest creative play especially by a picture. I need this list redone ASAP
No, he didn't. I had been concerned about that, too, because if he had missed third, it would have made the jump far less impressive, even if the Cardinals had never caught it. But you can see it for yourself. At 2:02, it's possible to freeze the video with Coghlan's foot firmly on third base.
I posted a link to a photo from that play that shows Coghlan's foot on third base and not touching the ground. The post was removed, possibly because someone in charge of the channel didn't trust the link. The photo is convincing enough to summarily and concisely end any argument. If the moderators would not be too suspicious of even harmless links, perhaps people could actually have a conversation.
That photo sucks and it doesn’t show anything from that angle. He was inches inside third base and the photo shows his foot above the base because that’s when the video was paused. Slow this vid to .25 speed and watch it again.
As a lifelong Buffalo Sabres fan, I take exception to the fact that 2 of these top 10 include the Sabres on the losing end of impressive (but embarrassing) goals. Two thumbs down
The Malik goal is always in Top 10s. And its not that good. That move is common and weve seen it dozens of other times. What made in memorable in this instance was that hes not known as a goal scorer or high skill player.
This collection isn't so bad but I know what you mean. The play was skillful and athletic but he couldn't do it again in 1000 tries. "Luck" is a dirty word in sports. Everybody can sure enough see BAD luck when it happens, sometimes carried off on the cart -- but GOOD luck? Never happens. Skill and preparation. Instinct and reflex. Never luck.

We didn't have RUclips in the 80's that's why.
Yeah, seen that one dozens of times, kind of surprised it was there.
It was a cross-court winner. Most between the legs returns continue a volley.

#2 could have been 3 of these top 10 plays all by itself: the kick, the glove, the bare hand catch--just magnificence and hustle all the way through!
Literally the least impressive play on list. It’s not like MLB players have 0 spacial awareness. Short lob to 1st
2:44 Buehrle's play was a gloved-hand throw to a bare-hand catch for an out.
Did number 4 actually touch 3rd base?
I've looked at it a few times and I'm not sure.
Noooope
Is it me or does the guy not come anywhere near third? 2:02

How was the golf shot legal? It's off the wall
Ugh did that guy miss 3rd base for the Blue Jay's? Sure looks like it
Hard to tell, he was running really fast but it does make you think

In slow mo he hits it with his left foot but you can’t see the beginning of the tag because the base covers it from that angle

How is Javy Baez stealing 1st (and 2nd) against the Pirates not all 10 spots?
I’d say that’s less of a creative play by Baez than a dumb play by the first baseman that didn’t just tap the bag
