Jason you are so much more open on these lessons. In my past experience with some instructors they want the lesson their way verbatim no if or buts. Do not interpret your ideas into my way of this lesson and assignment . Guess the teachers ego and control issues where paramount . Kind of made me feel less than confident of my own ability for self improvement and my continuing education . .
Can you explain how we are supposed to know when a parenthesis is needed. I understand if you write them to help make things easier to read but can they freely be used?

At 8:32, wouldn't Bodmas or Pemdas require us to do the division before the subtraction?

Discrete mathematics is a foundational for computer algorithms. We need DVD on discrete mathematics. It will be helpful for computer science students
