Me 2 bruh, he was a talent just on the wrong label that could'nt push him cuz da don was keeping the flag flying at that time, sometimez it truly iz about timing.
Was a shame that DB ended up being somewhat black balled because of his connection to Suge as he is a talented dude. Glad he seems to be doing well now though and has his restaurant in Vegas.
Already Reggie. One thing about yo boy Suge is he left legendary stuff. Man Deathrow is being talked about. Everywhere docs internet etc. What other label is like this
So DB, it always made me wonder how Suge was paying his roster. It was like he was paying you in drips and drabs. I'ts like no one really got that big payday...Just enough to keep you satisfied for the moment. Am I right? You have a great voice man, hope you receive the success that you deserve.
Deathrow didnt really know how to handle its R&B roster. It was mainly G-Funk and Gangsta rap. That alone overshadowed ppl like him, Michel'le, sixnine and even Rage. Suge knew what was selling so he went with the masses just as any other label would do. Its just business
@@tdollarz2007yahoo i disagree because he had Jewell , Michele & Jodeci as well. So Suge wouldnt have them singing on Pac's , Snoop's , Dogg Pound & Dr Dre's records. Suge was gonna released R/B artists , but he was too focused on 2PAC & other gangster rap artists. After Pac died , he got locked up. He let the wrong people run his company.
@@antdogg2946 thats what I'm saying. He didnt really know how to push those other artists that weren't in the g-funk/gangsta rap catalog. Sure they all had deals but all of their albums also flopped under DR too. They never got the promotion they needed like snoop, dre, pac and all them other guys
