I wonder if you can find a seed that is actually near impossible to beat. Like all terrible card choices, all unfavorable events, all deadly node placements just align that makes a seed almost unwinnable. Curious if there are already seeds discovered like that, could make for good CONTENT.
I remember seeing an Ironclad Pandora Box swap that starts with like 8 evolves, I remember seeing a video about it, if I find it again I'll link it

@@hobez64 And yeah I'm sure you can have seeds which are impossible by taking the boss relic into a garbage pandoras box, dooming the run in a single click, but I'm talking like there's NOTHING you can do to win, or as close/luck dependent as possible. Maybe there's enough things done in the generation process to ensure that doesn't happen, but what's the closest you can get to it?
@@ethanmontgomery6132 Oh gotcha. In that case, there is a seed that has been found to be unbeatable, specifically for A20 Silent. 3LWVGX7BL. I haven't seen it myself, but I read it has a required burning Lagavulin on floor 6 with not great card rewards before it
@@ethanmontgomery6132 Uhm, Luck doesn't actually exist in StS. The entirety of the game is fully dependent on the seed, up to where Bouncing Flasks land. There's only small "If something happened, the probability is changed" situations such as Gremlin Leader losing all his Minions, in which case he may change his current attack. Still, after that, it goes back to being seeded.

sub sound gets annoying after awhile
Hello Frost and Andrew. Just wanted to pop in and say keep up the good work.
I literally can't finish this video because the sub sound is going to make me commit violent acts.
God thats a wild kinda run. Seems intresting enough isw scope for its own character of a mod to just play with the potions mechanic.
Like different, Alchimise versions like [defensive, offensive, draw and rare potion] as cards to collect.
Starting with Potion belt and a generic Alchemise(maybe non exhastable version) along with their strikes and defends.
Card effects like: If a potion was used this turn Draw X, A Burst like Skill to Double potion effects on a turn(using the Bark effect), A relic that either Double plays or doesn't consume the first potion of combat. A capacitor like skill for temp potion slots. Mabye a Focus like stat that allows potions to scale and a Form card that increaces that stat.
Could even have a crafting mechanic, like every time you play 2 skills and 1 attack, you craft a potion.
Theres alot that could be explored there.
I can assure you, as someone who plays basically only Modded spire, this would feel incredibly boring and very constrictive to play, while also being entirely dependent on rng. Even in this run, we see Frost steer fairly quickly away from using potions and we saw him discard quite a lot of them simply because they were not good in that situation.
Theres is a Potion brewer mod on the workshop whos is kind of like that. You can brew your own potions and enhance normal ones too
