I've watched him for many years in Australia, and he shot the ball well from the line his whole junior career. I could tell he was nervous at the start of the G-League season, and his shooting improved significantly as the season progressed. He even shot 45% from three over his last nine games. He'll be at least a decent shooter in the NBA with more reps. As a youngster he was too fast, shifty, and long for opponents, so he got to the rim at ease. He didn't really NEED to shoot from the outside much, so I'm confident his shooting will come around.

Lowkey think Daniels would be a sick fit with either Indiana or Detroit. Dallas showed how important having a second ball handler was this year and I think getting him with Cade or Tyrese could really elevate those guys ceilings
He damn near plays exactly like Derrick White. When Derrick white is playing confident and in rhythm he’s a top 4 guy on a team and i can see the same outcome with Daniels. He doesn’t need to be a star on his team, but be a star in his role. Versatile high impact players like him are more valuable than the league makes it seem.
The Spurs love them some Aussies......I like Daniels as a prospect, mainly cause I love defense and sharing the rock. Plus, he is a poor FT shooter, which fits in nicely with the Pop Spurs.

Imo he’s very very similar to lonzo. long rangy guard who looks to play make and is excellent defensively but lacks shot creation and will struggle shooting early in his career which will limit his overall half court offense and ability to be a lead ball handler

I don’t see how he’s more naturally talented than Jaden Hardy. He’d probably make a good role player, but Hardy is way more prolific at the difficult stuff in basketball which is why he had the ball in his hands more than Dyson this season.

I think his game is a hybrid or Scottie Pippen and Dejounte Murray. Not as athletic as Pippen and not as good of a shooter as Dejounte (yet), but I think he has shades of those two, along with a little bit of Lonzo Ball. He's more Pippen/Dejounte than Lonzo/Giddey in my opinion. Not a passing wizard like Giddey and Lonzo, but more of a steady efficient passer.... and all-round player like Pippen and Dejounte.

Can’t stand wings/guards tha can’t attack the basket and score. 1v1 scoring is a huge red flag. Hope nobody reaches for him. His release on threes is really slow but can improve.
