Being an old Pontiac guy myself there's nothing quite like a GTO with a 4 speed!
1970 was a great year for the GM car line, especially their Muscle Cars. This is a awesome looking GTO, great color combination.
I remember as a kid ,every where we went in my dad's 70 gto even in the mid early 80s people always came up to talk about the car, pop the hood usually least a 5 minute talk lol glad see people still appreciate these works of art

On the gto they came with 400 I have never heard of a 350..As far as i know, GTO came in the beginning with 389 and then the 400 and 455 after that

@@49inxs I said the same thing about the 66 LeMans convertible with Tri-Power rebadged as GTO. Wife & I watched that video 20 times and even showed her parents when they came over.

Great GTO!! I drove a 1967 GTO once and loved it. I call it the floaty boaty muscle car.
No disc brakes on front with no power booster, and no power steering. WOW

That one looks solid Nick. Had a 68 GTO strip car in grad school for a bit. Built 400, roll bar, the whole 9 yards. Was the only one of about 40 I've owned that scared me a little. On a hot summer day with the slicks on it, it would pull the front wheels

That rear spoiler looks like a good place for a hibachi and a keg. Tail gate style. Other than that, this GTO is going to make a new owner very happy.
It's definitely a Pontiac V8 under the hood, but, if it's a 350 cubic inch engine it's not the original engine.
Or a tempest with GTO front clip judge decals, hood and and rear deck spoiler
GTO starts with a 242 vin# . Lemans #237 Tempest is 233 I believe

Ok Pontiac fans, shouldn't that car have a M22 and a 12 bolt rear? Could you get a 350 engine in 70 Goats? I thought they only had a 400 or 455.
70 was the only year for The Humbler switch as well, got all excited but nope.
The only 350 number you got in 1970 GTO was horsepower, and the Humbler switch was a option not standard.
This is a real GTO but not a real Judge. Original numbers matching Judges are going for close to six figures. This is a GTO but not numbers matching.
You are correct, only 400 or 455 engines were available in GTO's.
Pontiac v8 engines are weird in that they all use the same block, just different cubic inch displacements.
Depends on the rear gear. Below I think their weird gear ratio 364 or whatever rear end you’d have a m20 wide ratio and a 10bolt. Above that you’d have a close ratio either a m21 or m22 but not sure if they only used one of the two. Also the 455 cars I heard got the 12 bolt. Like some of the others said the 350 is the horsepower rating which was the standard engine hp rated 400. The difference in hp is the cam and heads between all the engines plus ram air. 350s were not an option and if this had a 350 ci that is sacrilege to Pontiac people like myself. The price is about right but Lordy if this actually has a 350 ci knock 5 or 10 gs off the price tag bc nearly nobody wants to build those motors. Speaking of which this motor does sound healthy. Engine was definitely rebuilt bc the stock 350 DID NOT lope at idle with the 068 cam. It sound like a ram air III cam in it or the summit 2802
frend in hs had a 69 400 highpo oil pump helped him put that in nother frend hod a green white int plus white stripe package mine was 69 and 70 lemans pontiac always had something for ford thanks again
I owned a black 69 Goat. Never cared for the judge. I’d remove those decals

Not a big fan of Pontiacs, but this GTO Looks really good.
Thought all the 70 GTO's had front disc as part of the GTO package. Maybe it was a order option to save money on the purchase of the car when it was new. The vin # will tell you what you need to know about this car.

Are you referring 350c.i. or 350(base 400c.i. hp)? Hard to tell, Pontiac V8s back then are the same block. Only RA III & RA IV were RA options in '70. Even so, missing the foam air cleaner sealer ring to the hood scoop air intakes.

To bad Pontiac got out of Racing , Their 303 short Deck produced 475 hp ,and their 366 produced 578 hp. But they stayed with 365 hp.

True gto did not have a 350. At least a 400.wrong side mirror,after market tach.no radio,no horn cracked dash.no seat belts. Wrong year center caps and or wheels.wrong exhaust tips for a gto.drum brakes should be changed to at least disc up front.I know it sold,but plenty of gremlins to address.
