Hi, thank you so much for this video! It's actually my first time playing not only Havoc DH, but also DPS (I typically main healer), so your videos have been a god send.

OMG! Haven't watched but its been so so so hard to find a DH who is raiding and who can meaningfully explain/show what it takes to be melee, forced mobility, and shortish burst windows that really count. Im super new, just tww, and i underestimated the one shots and how essy it would be to dash into a insta kill portal or spike. Embarrassing but learned that not dying is most important. However, my dps does suffer (compared to when I went for it and didn't just die) and it's been really hard to balance living and burst. I think abilities like Darkness, Netherwalk, and Blur may be way more important if my positioning is mediocre (melee downtime as i learn to hug the safe spots). If those abilities get used by good players to push damage when it's (assumably) very dangerous to full commit it would be cool to hear about it. Edit: just started watching and you're already mentioning darkness and using it to maintain contact. Getting rooted feels bad but if it doesnt kill you it does let you keep DPSing. Really appreciate the content, been searching for Raids specifically and hard to find good breakdowns. Good WoW players like my friend (retired from pushing top tier ages ago and slumming it with a Normal raid guild) just "know" how to deal with new stuff so quickly and if we wipe they die last and will be at the top of healing (nearly double) or edge out DPS (they main healer).
@@VooDooSaurus yeah you gotta be quick but its nice in a pinch if youre out of position. better for p2 if youre in danger of the expeller. thats when i found it best to use
I feel like I am doing all of these things but my damage still blows! Not even top 10 I gotta be doing something wrong. I do have periods where I dont attack because I am dodging and trying to not die, is that the problem I wonder. Im also 609 ilvl though.
Ill have to try using meta on roots ive been holding for first pull coz u can cancel the pull by using meta that way i can do the whole opener during intermission p1
why do you use the sim bait trinket that you tell everyone to not use? surely that terrible trinket would be way better on other classes in the guild? because its sim bait?

Ah thank you this is exactly what I needed! I was pumping on all other bosses but lacking on Queen. This helps alot!

I'm in the same spot mate, also new to the game and maining DH with the intention to raid :P
you can bind glide and press it on the pull in. another nice little trick
@@sal6841 ya I have it bound, it’s very weird on the pull tho, have to be very precise with it if you’re inside the danger zone for very minimal gain
