We have a ringneck / alexandrine hybrid. The breeder put a female alex and a male ringneck in an aviary for 3 days , just to organise cages for them , but realised they fancied each other , and then they ' fell in love '. They became inseparable , so he kept them together , and our little treasure was hatched several months later ( not sure exactly how many months ). Beautiful love story....lol . These breeds must fall for each other often....it's so lovely !! Birds are wonderful !!!!

Alhamdulillaah beautiful, but never keep parrots of small beaks with parrots having large beaks, a little tussle or excitement nd the larger one may uproot the smaller beak of the other one, my personal experience, my 1st parrot bled to death coz of this.
That Alexandrian parrot is female, it does not have the black ring on the neck that the males do, it is one of the few parrot breeds that have a bit of sexual dimorphism.
