If you have trouble falling asleep when the room is not completely dark, buy a blindfold sleeping mask. This will be ideal when you sleep outside your home and the blinds or curtains do not completely darken the room. You are sympathetic people. It's nice that you like Poland. We really have a lot of nice places to see. Feel free to visit other cities in Poland too. Greetings from Gdańsk
We're are fully developed country. And we're skyrocketing for last 25-30 years. We want to catch up the western salary as soon as possible. Now its almost 80% of EU average. And we are a very safe country. Great you like Gdańsk.
Awesome video! Gdansk is such a beautiful place! By the way, you didn’t need a passport control/stamp because both Norway and Poland are in the Schengen zone. Have a fantastic trip!
For some time, I was confounded when I saw people being 'surprised' by what Poland is like. I couldn't get over, how people living in the era of the internet and social media, often not too far from here in Europe, can have such a distorted perception. But, oh well. Apparently, we've been living in some kind of space-time bubble for the last few decades, and the reality of this part of the continent has been inaccessible to foreign eyes. Welcome to Narnia, I guess.
As a native Krakowian girl, I feel offended! Jk, but you need to see Kraków in spring/summer (or during a super snowy winter when the Christmas decorations are on) to be able to really judge it. It's a city that's known to transform completely in the sun, when there's greenery and flowers everywhere. Oh, and it kind of applies to Gdańsk as well, though more in terms of tourists. If now it seemed like a calm, quiet city, in the summer it's absolutely flooded with people and there's events happening everywhere.
Norway and Poland are both in Schengen so when you fly there is no border, and consequently no passport check. When you fly from the UK both before and after Brexit, UK had never been Schengen and there was always a passport check between UK and Poland PS. "Główny" means "main"
Poland has a high-income, industrialized economy that's the sixth largest in the European Union by nominal GDP. Poland's GDP per capita is above 70% of the EU average. The country's economy has been growing steadily for over 25 years. Standard of living Poland has a high standard of living, with universal public healthcare and free university education. Economic stability Poland has a strong public finance system and a debt-to-GDP ratio that's better than the EU average. Poland was the only country in Europe to avoid the 2008-2010 recession. Developed market status Poland was the first Central and Eastern European country to be upgraded to Developed Market status in nearly a decade. That is what I found about Poland! Clearly developed country for a while now!

22:58 I like to look at the faces of people from Western countries when they come to Poland and see something different than they expected.😅
