It's official. Max's fighting mechanic is "Taunt Karma". When he is taunted, his play skills and character become so broken, you might as well have put the controller down. You lose. Good day sir.

That Tusk didn't disrespect taunt, when you time Tusk's taunt just right, it syncs up with his outro.
Yeah, I didn't see it as disrespect, either. Pretty E also showed how a high level Tusk is played.

+rockR4lifeXD But it is easy to understand where Max comes from. Altough I agree with you, I think that it is easier to think that it wasn't disrespectul being an spectator rather of the match than a player at that situation. Think about these points:
- As a player, even if you say "I suck", you have some pride. You still want to believe, even if it is just a little bit, that you are the best or really good at that game. It doesn't matter if it's true or not, from time to time you say/think to yourself like Duke Nukem "damn, I'm good".
- A guy joins you and plays the same character as you are playing
- He totally outclasses/outskills you.
- You get completely wrecked and couldn't even do anything about it.
- The guy doesn't simply win. He goes for a stylish finish (Ultra Combo)
- After that, he taunts you.
Again, I know that he probably didn't mean to disrespect Max, but don't think I would see it that way if it was me in his place. I would think that the guy was telling me "get out of here, you loser! I destroyed you! You suck!" It hurts when you are on the receiving side...

Whether it's disrespect in my opinion depends on the character's taunt itself. For instance, Arbiter's taunt is actually a manly AF battle cry. Don't really see that as disrespectful, it's closer to saying GG.
Jago's however, he actually crosses his arms and shakes his head at you like you're a joke.

I'm not a fighting game person, but watching killer instinct really makes me want to change that, those ending moves + synced music are some of the coolest things i've ever seen
If you haven't played a lot of fighting games, I would definitely recommend Killer Instinct. Even the entry level battles are super fun and they even have combo assist if you're not good at complicated inputs.
Max, watching you and playing Street Fighter V has renewed my love for fighting games. Thank you.

I just realized how much this game is almost a weapon fighter: Asian curve sword, tonfas, wrist blades, sword and shield, broadsword, boxing gloves (technically), rocks, nunchucks, energy sword, chakrams... a lot of weapon users.

Josh hall Killer Instinct was a part of Nintendo before, but since it is owned by Microsoft (which is also an American company compared to Nintendo which is Japanese), it is highly unlikely.

+Krescentwolf Though there is the one thing IG added where if you standing medium punch? I think? It ignores armor. Don't remember if it was that, but I know it was a punch and it's supposed to ignore armor. Pretty much characters like Aganos or Glacius [in his instinct].

And that accidental deflect parry on the combo breaker towards the beginning of the video? Nutty. (Between 4:48 and 4:54, Tusk v. Arbiter.)
I just wish he had a recapture move that could help him do triple and quad ultras... :/
Edit: That 82% damage combo off of that counter-breaker at the end of the vid was gross AF.
@@matiasmorales073, as someone who still rocks Tusk from time to time, I can safely say he still hits like a truck.
The trick though to pulling out the big damage is to bait out a combo-breaker; counterbreakers are what really cause the damage to spike, especially with Tusk.
Personally, I suggest the following:
1. At either midscreen or in the corner, use the FK version of Tusk's Immortal Spirit command dash move (QCF+FK). This version of the move, no matter where it's done, causes a Wall Splat ender, and is the only ender capable of triggering a Wall Splat situation anywhere on the screen.
2. Once the Wall Splat's happened, dash in and throw the enemy Forward. This causes the suplex animation to happen.
3. After the suplex animation is done, jump Up-Forward and tap the FP button to do the Air Skewer move (U+FP). You should see the Air Skewer animation come out.
4. As soon as the Air Skewer hits, activate Counter Breaker (MP+MK). If the opponent recognizes the move, and how to perform it, then they'll know how to break it; and that's what you're banking on. If/When they do try to break it, your midair counter-breaker will cause the animation for the counter-breaker, allowing you to reset the CVM (combo value meter).
He still has no suitable midair recapture move though, to the best of my knowledge, which means at most, you can get a Double Ultra.
I'd love to try this game. Too bad on PC it's Windows 10 exclusive and I ain't touchin' that.
