Tonight I'm going to be in a stan up competition in Malmö, currently looking through some of your videos to get some last minute tips... You are awesome and I would like to thank you a lot for being on RUclips, helping us all being better artists :)

Thanks for commenting. Being scared is great. Everyone who will be at the gig will also be terrified. The goal, I believe, is to always be terrified. If you're constantly putting yourself out there in and progressing to the next stage then by default you're always going to be nervous. But you'll develop a believe that you can smash it cause of your experience. Get up there, grab the mic and just have fun. Don't worry about making them laugh at the beginning. Sure, do your material, but focus on the experience of being on stage for the first few times. Really try and soak it in and pay attention to as many things as possible. Be sure to drop back and let us know how it goes.

A good one to add, for me was, "use less words". Aka- use the least amount of words possible to get to the punchline.

I find that most people don't need to be told to be themselves. In this video I'm giving small pieces of information on very practical ideas. People don't usually watch the entire thing so even if they only watch a small piece they'll leave with something they have most likely thought of before only coming from another persons point of view. Just trying to lay out the ground work as clear as possible really without saying general meaningless sentences like ''be yourself'' Thanks for commenting.

Love hearing this. Many thanks. I was killing myself with numbers. Trying to keep it in order was brutal.
