I'm not authorized to add subtitles, but here's a short recap of the video:
Gaahl used to be regarded a dangerous satanist who had to serve time in prison for violence.
Today he's finished serving his prison sentence, he's openly gay, and very popular amongst the LGBTQ+ community.
Even though his mindset has changed in many ways, he still has some controversial opinions about Christianity and the symbolic effect of church burnings. But he's being very clear that he doesn't want to enourage anyone to burn down a church.
What Gaahl really cares about, is norse mythology and culture. He gets an outlet for this through various music projects, including the band Wardruna. In the video we can see them preforming at a gay galla. Gaahl is also an expert on runes, and that has granted him access to see real runes at the Bryggen museum, which is also shown in the video.
At the time the interview was done, Gaahl was preparing to do theater for the first time in his life, in the world's first black metal musical called "Svartediket". Here he was assigned the role of a powerful norse god.
In the video he's also seen accepting an award from an LGBTQ+ organization, called "gay of the year". His friend and band colleague praise him for daring to be himself, not just privately, but also openly in the media. He's also praised by numerous other people for this.
