These are all great ideas! Thanks for sharing. My favourite savory recipe for popcorn is to drizzle just a little coconut oil after its popped, then I mix an 1/8 of a teaspoon of garlic and onion powder, cayenne, paprika, cumin, and a tablespoon of nutritional yeast. So good!!! 😋
I greatly appreciate that you show us the tips that you’re trying to share! Too often I feel like people just talk at a camera and I love being able to see what you’re talking about! You’re great! Love your channel!
Ah thanks. I spend a lot of time trying to get nice shots because when I watch other videos I like to see the visual to what they are talking about too. x
Wonderful! Thank you! A friend from the U.S. told me that her grandma used to pickle the rind of watermelons and that they made for a great treat in the winter. Watching you cut up the rind for compost made me think of it. I will try it next year!!
My favourite is popcorn with sesame oil and salt - the simplest possible popcorn topping and super savoury and yummy! We also love homemade biscuits, granola bars, and houmous with dippers. Xxx
Loved your zero waste healthy snack haul. Love somemore like those ones of food an gardening would be good thanks. Love watching your hauls your really interesting to watch an very calm voice. All the best. Xxx👍
hey :) I am a new follower. I like your videos very much. But is it possible to make them a bit louder when you record them? I have to set my soundsettings very high to hear it well. Thank you for sharing this ideas for snacks. Exspecially in Autumn now there is time to make some of these. Its a good thing to do with kinds too.
Love this video! I noticed we have the same blender but mine didn't come with a tamper which in times I find absolutely necessary. Where did you get yours? Thank you!
This is great! I meant to ask you, what type of flour do you use for your Irish Soda Bread recipe??? I bake bread often with Einkorn, but was curious what type of flour you used in that previous video. Thanks, Niamh!
Ah I see... I use whatever flour is in the cupboard... mainly it is buckwheat/ry and spelt flour... 1 cup of each... I have a few videos on soda bread in the bread playlist...
Thanks for sharing! Would it be possible for you to add US amounts in there too? Like a US equivalent for 160° C is what in F? That would just make it so helpful for those of us following you from the states!
Hi. Did you soak the nuts in water before roasting them? I love eating nuts, but I haven't lately because of hassle from having to soak them and roast them.
Lovely video! I have a question about the nut butter: how long does it keep? If you introduce water into the mix (by soaking the nuts) doesn't it make the nut butter spoil quicker? Although I'm sure if you only want a small portion, it must be less of a hassle than blending unsoaked nuts :)
The Tiny Vegan Life yeah you're totally right. I will just make a small batch of nut butter so it will be used up within a few days. If I make a large amount I will roast the almonds first to dry them out and then make the butter. I hope that helps x
Do you know the chickpeas bread ? It's an Italian recipe "farinata di ceci" ... Check it out. Substitute for bread and very nutritional. Just chickpeas flour water and rosemary
Love the snack ideas but as a diabetic I'm just seeing Carbs carbs carbs so No no and no. and anytime I put seasoning on dry popcorn, the seasonings go to the bottom of the bowl. I spritz my popcorn, when I could have it, with avocado oil, then sprinkling the seasonings.
Hi! My nutritionist recommended me putting all the nuts in a bowl full of water, in order to activate all the nuts' nutrients and to get rid of all the antinutrients (Let them stay there for a minimum of 8 hrs. 12 would be ideal). Pay heed to the colour of the water before rinsing them. It looks disgusting
Hablas de zero waste pero los anacardos y el aceite de coco entre otras cosas son importadas de muy lejos y contamina mucho producirlas y llevarlas hasta su destino...mejor elegimos alimentos locales. Coherencia
These recipe ideas are great! Very simple. And most especially they're vegan 🍎🍎🍎

Ah thanks. I spend a lot of time trying to get nice shots because when I watch other videos I like to see the visual to what they are talking about too. x
Love that you make your nut butter with no additional oil. Thanks for the tips.
Natalie Hudson there is enough oil in the nuts already thanks for watching. X
Wonderful! Thank you! A friend from the U.S. told me that her grandma used to pickle the rind of watermelons and that they made for a great treat in the winter. Watching you cut up the rind for compost made me think of it. I will try it next year!!

Thank you for sharing this ideas for snacks. Exspecially in Autumn now there is time to make some of these.
Its a good thing to do with kinds too.
You can make fermented watermelon rind pickles, just peel the tough skin, and put those in the compost.
Thankyou, love it!! ;))
I am a new subscriber and love your content ❤️
Ah welcome my friend... delighted you are enjoying the videos!
Love your videos. So relaxing. Was wondering where you got your 2 in one food processor/ blender?
Hi Paige, This all in one was a house warming gift from my parents. The brand is Bosch if you want to look it up. x
Love this video! I noticed we have the same blender but mine didn't come with a tamper which in times I find absolutely necessary. Where did you get yours? Thank you!
Angelica LeBouquet ah ours was house warming gift from my parents. What does tamper mean?
@@FairylandCottage it's the black stick you push food down in the blender when there is not much liquid.
Ah I see! yeah it comes in handy.. x
You should have a tv show i would watch
This is great! I meant to ask you, what type of flour do you use for your Irish Soda Bread recipe??? I bake bread often with Einkorn, but was curious what type of flour you used in that previous video. Thanks, Niamh!

You can also pop sorghum just like corn. They are a mini version of popcorn lol.
I'd love to come to your house. You're so cool!!! Fav
kateobeirneful haha thanks! I'll tell my hubby you said that, he'll love it! X
Great thank you x
We're you wearing mangal sutra?
Thanks for sharing! Would it be possible for you to add US amounts in there too? Like a US equivalent for 160° C is what in F? That would just make it so helpful for those of us following you from the states!
I certainly can...its about 320F
In future I'll try to remember to add American measurements.
Thanks so much!
Hi. Did you soak the nuts in water before roasting them? I love eating nuts, but I haven't lately because of hassle from having to soak them and roast them.
I actually only soak if I am eating raw. If I am roasting I don't bother.
@@FairylandCottage thank you for your reply, do you only soak them and dehydrate? I don't have a dehydrator and the oven doesn't go low enough ...
Silvia Arciniegas-Mosquera when I eat raw, I soak overnight and then just rinse and eat!

Thank you! Yes, it makes perfect sense!
Hi!! As per ayurveda, its not advisable to mix anything with melons...
thanks for that info!
Where are you from?
I'm pretty sure she's Irish, what county I have no idea 😂
She’s in Wicklow county. Follow her on Instagram.
Do you know the chickpeas bread ? It's an Italian recipe "farinata di ceci" ... Check it out. Substitute for bread and very nutritional. Just chickpeas flour water and rosemary
wow must try make that!
😊
I’d skip the coconut oil. It is higher in saturated fat than lard.
Ur content is really nice. BTW word "pop" Used lotzzzz of time😃
hahah :-)

I use soy sauce and unsalted margarine for my popcorn 😂

Well, at least she is trying... And you, my friend?
Just pick up an apple for goodness sake!
