Wool is great! I hope more cloth diapering people will try it when they see your video :) I must say that I have washed all my wool (and even more delicate wool-silk clothing) in my washing machine for years and nothing bad happened to them. It's on a special wool program, of course, and special detergent. So it's possible and takes away another con! ;) (I'm in The Netherlands, so maybe the washing situation is different here, I don't know!)
I love wool cloth diaper covers! I'm using them right now with my 3rd baby. Now that I'm used to washing and lanolizing it doesn't seem time consuming. There are some interlock wool covers that can be machine washed on cold. Knit covers like the one you show do need to be hand washed. 💜 Heidi
Speaking as a sewist - with a few precautions, there *are* ways to wash woolens in most washers (and there are plenty of RUclips channels to walk you through how). No good can come of the dryer, though. You're trying to prevent heat and agitation, and that's basically how a dryer operates.
i love your personality. great video
Awww! Thank you for the compliment and for watching!!
