Occasionally I find a deal on blades on Amazon. When I am sick I drink about a quart of OJ every day, Airborn, Mucinex, and Robitussin. MOST important, I attempt to drown the bugs with plain old H2O, about 2 liters minimum, lots of sleep.

Cindy, that's a great tip on watching deals on Amazon. Do you have a way to be notified when there's a sale going on? I'm already in need of a new blade after cutting into this fabric for the kits - several hundred yards to cut up! Thanks for the tips on how you handle colds. I'm definitely ready to be over this one.

Mary, thanks! I haven’t heard of this brand before. Do you shop for them online or in a certain shop?

Before I fly to is it my 6 grandkids (ages 13 down to 5 months) I start taking **Emergen-C** packets. I dump them straight on my tongue and wash it down with water. I am generally very healthy and don’t get sick that often. Typically, I would only get one to two sinus infections annually so there’s that. But even when I have visited my grandkids for two weeks at a time, literally every time I visit one or more in the family gets sick and I manage to avoid it…nearly every single time. One time, my husband, daughter, son-in-law and all the kids got sick except me. call it a coincidence but I think it’s the emergency packets. when I do get sick, I like to make hot lemon, honey and ginger beverages. I prefer to use fresh lemon and fresh ginger root, and I will pulverize them in my Vitamix and then simmer it on the stove with some water then add local honey. I’m also the only one in my family who did not get Covid but then again I never took tests because I never saw the point in taking a test if there were no symptoms

I've heard of Emergen-C packets before but never tried them - what a good idea! The hot water, lemon, honey, and ginger "tea" sounds delicious; I'm going to pick them up at the store today. YUM!

Hello y’all I can’t even tell you the last time I had a cold. I guess I have a pretty strong immune system; an occasional sinus infection or strept throat but even that has been years. I’ve also not had Covid. My husband will jump on vitamin C and Zinc when he gets a cold. Side note our vitamins are a whole food choice, which cost more. BUT if you’re going to take them, why use a bunch of chemicals/fillers. !?!? Another side note I have always tried to make it a practice to wash my hands when I come home; from work, errands, anywhere…
Rotary blades I’ve not bought any yet. Being newer to quilting I’m looking forward to getting my tools. I’m seriously thinking of Quilters Select!
That kit you’re cutting looks gorgeous!
    Get better 🥰❤️😀

Rachel, that's awesome that you have such a strong immune system! My husband is the same. He never seems to catch any of the colds the rest of the family seems to get.
I'm so glad you like the kit!! Working on prepping the kits today, which is super exciting. It's going to be fun to share what the kits look like in a few days!

I use NAC 600mg daily and Vitamin D3 5000IU daily and haven't been sick since COVID. NAC has a lot of preventative qualities as well - it's and anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer and helps with diabetes.

Mary, thanks!! Is NAC a brand name? Where do you find it?

Tony, that’s a smart idea. Do you find that the prices are pretty comparable between the two stores?

New blades?? What is this strange concept you speak. 👽 Im always wow'd when I watch youtubers slice thru the fabric with one successful stroke. Otherwise Im cheesy and usually land at Walmart for such things if I dont figure out a coupon/sales deal at Joann's. May you be blessed with consistent health soon! 🙏

Bwahaha!!! THIS IS ME!! I literally use the blade until I get to the point where I need to use scissors to come back and trim where the blade isn’t cutting. Then I change it and it’s like Ohmygosh WHY have I waited so long?!? They’re just so crazy expensive, you know?
