I'm about to start my journey learning about this beautiful artform. I've always noticed heraldry, but it was when my wife and I visited Buckingham Palace that I truly became aware of the significance and how it important it is to the history of Britain and the Commonwealth.
The Society for Creative Anachronism has a very active, & prolific, tradition of teaching the medieval art of calligraphy & illumination, AND Heraldry.
Great story, people need to start teaching it so it does not die out.
