Thanks so much for pointing out the position of the pedals when folding: right pedal forward, left pedal back. I would do right pedal back and left pedal forward. When folding the bike, the right pedal would get jammed where the bike folds and I'd have a hard time unfolding the bike. Now that you pointed out the correct position of the pedals when folding, I'm having no trouble folding and unfolding the bike!
I just got a 3.0 - I've only unfolded and folded it twice and each time it was awkward, dangerous, and frustrating - I'm sure it will get easier over time but man, that 70 pound bike can be a challenge to weild.
Good demonstration of folding a Lectric XP 2.0. I appreciate the advice about using your Foot & Kick-Stand making the Folding a bit easier & Smoother. Will need to watch again, and Practice more. The 45 angle degree to remove Battery Also good Idea too.
Thanks for your effort, I wanted to remove my Battery, so did basically what you showed us, but I forgot I needed to remove the key BEFORE the Battery would come out, a U-TUBE VIDEO, like yours reminded me.
It would be helpful for a brand new owner if you actually showed taking the battery in and out. But the folding and unfolding was very helpful, thank you!
That battery doesnt come out easy. In fack i just left min in cause i couldnt get it out. I turned the key and the pin recessed. I took the charging port rubber out and lifted th e battery with handle and pulled and pulled. Couldnt get it. I didnt want break any thing so made sure it was all the way in and lturned the key put pin in.
Thank you for the vid. This thing is a beast. In order for me to fit this thing in my 2 door hatchback, I’m likely gonna have to disconnect the handle bar post (which, luckily is a quick-release type). I haven’t taken mine out yet. Just charged the battery. Kinda nervous lol
You should be nevouse. I recommend you switch to zero assistbwhen making a u turn. That assist is too much to use because its design. I found i peddle threw a uturn and if your not fast enough to slam on breaks your gonna end up not making the uturn or crashing.
Thanks for the video. I'm thinking about this bike for my wife. She is only 4' 8" tall. Do you think it will fit her? I can't seem to find anyone or any shop locally to actually test it out.
Wish this Bike & the Battery was LIGHTER, I am 71, so Folding my Lectric 2.0 Step-Thru was a CHALLENGE, but as we you see, I SURVIVED. I do LOVE MY 4 month old E-Bike too.
Being a woman and 65, the folding unfolding and battery removal is all challenging. Though I was able lift it folded with the battery in it. So I’m still hopeful that I will be able to get it in my vehicle, maybe in a wheeled crate.
For some reason my latch to unfold is extremely stubborn - I need to get at the battery to reseat it as out of nowhere my LCD went black - check all connections seem good - but cannot get this thing unfolded
@@Turtle3863 Thx I smacked it a few times with gloves and palm of my hand and seemed to unjiggle it - My bike 67 miles on it - no off roading - suddenly my LCD went dark/no power - I check all the connectors they seeemed ok - battery is at full charge - any ideas? thx in advance
@@vovachammonet5771 Sounds like a phone call to Lectric support for the answer. You can see if any of the cabling that goes out front to the display may have come unplugged but if that is not it you might want to call support.
Yes, same thing happened to me. It fell out on the ground. Now I have to try and put it back in without dropping it. I need a video that actually shows it being taken out and replaced without dropping it or the bike falling over. And I’m a senior woman, not easy.
@@rvgrandmacharlotte4604 I practiced in the house on carpet and did manage to get it back in and out. I think I just need a bit more practice with all the folding and unfolding to be able to do it without watching a RUclips video as I do it. But I do love riding it! And love that I can just ride it like a regular bike without power if I want to.
You gotta be kidding me ....... That is the hardest way you can fold up a bike . Use the brake lever for the front wheel and it makes it SOOOOO much easier ! I wanna see you try and fold it up completely without breaking a sweat !

Thank you so much the video was really helpful ❤❤ ive never folded my bike before and i worry i might get it stuck 😂
Great job, well done video. Easy to follow, especially great for me since I just got my XP 2.0 yesterday. Thanks!!
Thanks for the tips. I'm 75, and your video will help.
Thank you. Makes it so much easier!
Thank you so much for the closer view of the process; helped a LOT.
I could see what I needed to do, but not quite HOW to do it. Big help.
Your welcome

Just got mine, exact same model. Thanks for the tips. I like your travel bag. Got a link on that one?
Not exactly the same one but real close. amzn.to/3pEosgg
Thanks turtle. I bought a 3.0 and its z white step threw like yours. I absolutely love it thats for the video and stay save.

That’s a great e-bike. Thanks for the “how to.”

Yes at our age our back can’t take it too well picking it up. I have learned to lift with my legs and use ramps when possible.

nice job with the video - thanks. BTW - what kind of bag do you have on the back of the bike - it looks nice!
Ordered it from Amazon
I like having the option but im getting a bike rack. Its a pain in the butt plus parts are gonna get messed up
Thanks
Will it fold with the baskets they sell on the website, or do the baskets get in the way?
I think they will fold but not as compactly as just the bike.
Thanks, king!
I pulled up this video to see how to fold the pedals. 🤣
I just got mine it is very hard and clumsy to fold
Thank you

do you have to remove the battery to recharge it?
No
thx
How do you fold the pedals?
my battery doesn't 'slide' out it 'falls' out.
Well, hope you caught it before it Hit the Ground, $299.00 for a NEW BATTERY, Yikes, !!!😳
@@Triplebuc50 No it hit the concrete the first time. After that I didn't unlock it until I had it over the grass and able to control it.

I will try to put out a video soon on how to fold the pedals

Why didn't you show how to fold the pedals? I couldn't figure it out
Sorry, they can be a pain sometimes
You have to “push” them in (about 3/4”) and THEN you can “flip” the pedal to the closed position.
@@scangittman9952 lol thanks, i couldn't figure it out that time. 😅 I had to take my bike to the shop and hadn't used my bike much.
Sucks folding it. I hit my shin so hard with the pedal and can't stand trying ti fold it
The most important art was disengaging that handle and you didn’t show it! I can’t figure out how to open that handle
Deary me!you do realise that if you turn tne bars you don't have to manhandle the wheel off the ground!
wahhhhh he didn't do the pedals :(
