Prince Andrew's Savile admission in Netflix drama Scoop sums him up to a tee. He's never coming back

- A royal expert has told the Sun's Royal Exclusive show that a particular scene in Netflix's Scoop sums up Prince Andrew 'perfectly'.
Charlie Rae, former Sun Royal Correspondent discussed what he thought of the film and identified a particular scene that, in his opinion, encapsulates Andrew.
Back in November 2019, Prince Andrew, Queen Elizabeth II's second son, sat down with Emily Maitlis to discuss his relationship with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
The Duke of York said he had "no recollection" of meeting American Virginia Roberts Giuffre, the woman who claims she was made to have sex with him as a teen.
During the ‘train wreck’ interview, Andrew, 64, who was later stripped of all royal duties, denied he had slept with Virginia, one of Epstein's victims, on three separate occasions - twice while she was underage.
Now a drama has been released about the bombshell interview and how Newsnight managed to secure the scoop.

He raised millions of pounds for charity and was highly respected for his work.
The Netflix documentary clearly shows the con man Saville was and how the Police chose not to investigate him properly.

The original interview was a car crash....you couldn't look away....I suffered through secondhand embarrassment from start to finish! A fitting end to the pompous, arrogant Prince Andrew! And what's with the teddy bears on his bed....what a loser!

Andrew's interview while COVID was breaking was pure comedy relief. I watch it periodically for a right good belly laugh. " Not a paaahty , just a straight forward shooting weekend" always gets me.

Netflix says it's based on actual events but that there are fictional parts of it. I just wonder if the comment about Jimmy Saville was real or made up. If it was real, then it's good that it's there. If it was just added for drama, that's a hit job.

Apparently, they wanted Saville to council Princess Diana & the then Prince Charles through their marriage woes at the time. Princess Diana didn’t want to and went on record saying she thought Saville was “creepy”.

Meghan's walk about after the Queen's death I think was enough for her. She looked terrified for the very first time.
This was a dramatisation. Did he actually say that or was it just put in the script? If not then typical of The Sun to drag this out as if it actually happened. What he did was despicable and he should be brought to justice but this is another example of the British Press stooping very low
