To make sure that you have no streaks while cleaning the windows, it is better to clean them at night or on a cloudy day. The heat from the sun causes the streaks; since it dries the solution you are using faster. As well as using a lot of solution, that is why I always use vinegar to clean glass.

Another amazing transformation, not too sure about things hidden under the rug, especially if kids are running around, the hose idea looks great, just won't put it over the wood cart as it is too heavy and can break it with the time!
Your windows looks similar to mine and they recommend using only a special window cleaner.. not windex. I think the sprayway glass cleaner. Maybe that could help. Works great for mine and I just use a rag

I like watching these videos because I do like the outcome of her talented ideas every single time, but sometimes, especially watching this video, I’m feeling somewhat frustrated. Most of the ordinary people cannot afford filling up their places with quite expensive furniture in one go like she did it here.
If I had the amount of money she used for this patio makeover I could also create nice and cosy places of course for my taste. I would prefer her to, at least every now and then, create nice places with close to no money available because that would be more beneficial for the crowds and would need even more creativity.

@sarahv.990 design is cute and would love, but yeh a bit too much for people on a strict budget these days, and the couch thing in the description is $1500..so nope..lol.
Well people you can get inspired with her videos and replace your selection of furniture with more economical options! She is giving you the idea of lay out, color combination etc 😊
@@femalewarrior125 yes that’s exactly what I do. I go to youtube and pinterest for inspiration, but i thrift most furnitures or shop a cheaper version. I love interior design but its SOOO expensive these days. I just hope people that don’t have unlimited budget don’t think it’s easy like this to makeover a room or patio. Most people cannot just go on one website and order everything they like. I love Kristen but sometimes when she does collaborations with brands like Article she makes it seem like it’s affordable and easy to do the same when in fact barely anyone can spend more than 10k on patio furnitures all at once. I think it’s important to be transparent about those things and as a viewer, we must keep that in mind when wishing we could achieve the same decor. :) hope that made sense loll

I just wonder abt the back to back bar stools. It seems if ppl are sitting in both (think party) there would be little space to walk btwn. Almost like I wonder if her sponsor req'd her to use a certain amount of their goods? It would be more practical to leave all the eating to the lake side and the bar top at the window to be for food service only.

This is so pretty. I have a question about functionality. What do you do when it rains? Do you bring in all the cushions and pillows or just let them get wet? Do you ever get high winds that would blow things away? We often get very high winds here in the foothills of the Smokies and my cushions (and sometimes chairs) often blow off of our deck. Just curious as to how you maintain it. Gorgeous, as always. I love seeing your transformations.
feels like a public place - a restaurant, a hotel bar, but not a home. But maybe I am just an introvert, who doesn't host parties on a weekly base. Probably the first makeover that I didn't like.
Very talented - but in this case it is a lot of up keep outdoors. That type of furniture will be hard to keep clean - so much dust, spider webs etc, happen outdoors.

It's adorable and stylish but..... Article furniture is very expensive. I was wondering if you can make back/front yard videos showing more affordable furniture. Umbrellas are beautiful and in my budget but everything else not so much.....

I died a little when you cut a hole in that nice rug and made a lump with the cord. But the patio is really pretty. Also curious where you put the kayaks now. They get shoved in the corner when filming is over?

I don’t think a fire pit needs to look “elevated”, it looks great as-is! The transformation of the backyard space was amazing!
In a couple of scenes you showed your other space with the large tan umbrella. Where did you get it from? Are you happy with it? I’m in search of one of those!
To anyone reading this … we overlooked the fine print on fire pit lava rock. Ours got wet and retained water. When the pit was on, the lava rock got so hot they expanded and burst out like popcorn. Burning my 10 year old right under the eye. If I could attach a pic, I would. Use caution. We replaced ours with blue glass.
