Cool episode. "Carousel of Progress" was one of my favorite attractions at Disneyland Park, I first saw it in 1971, I was 9 years old...I loved it! They closed it to make way for their bicentennial celebration, "America Sings", which I also loved. And, when that closed they took all the animals and placed them in "Splash Mountain". My first trip to WDW was in 2021, believe it or not. Your "Splash Mountain" was MUCH better than ours! Thanks again for another great talk. I like the interaction between the two of you. I have yet to ride the Avatar or Guardians Rewind rides since I live in CA, but my all time fave is Space Mountain @Disneyland Resort, then it’s a tie for second @DCAP with Guardians Breakout &Radiator Springs Racers. I was @WDW many years ago and the one ride I was impressed with was Living With the Land since I was teaching at the time. I don’t recall any thrill rides being memorable. Great video!
The WDW Tower of Terror is my least favorite of the three Disney parks I have been to. California is my first, yes it’s not a TOT anymore, but it’s the same rides system and the GoTG theming is wonderful. I like the TOT at Walt Disney Studios in Paris better than Florida’s ride. The Florida space Mountain is also my least favorite Space Mountain. Paris is my fave, then California then Florida. I can’t wait to do Cosmic Rewind!!! Your video made me excited to experience it.
WAS......Figment WAS awesome....But that was like 5 ride "updates" ago. Before they just made him obnoxious. The only time Journey into Imagination was a good ride was back in the 90s when Dreamfinder still existed and Eric Idol in the ride did not. But that was also back when Alien Encounter existed, before it got changed to lame and then shut down.

My mum was (sort of) a cast member for Hong Kong Disneyland when I was little (She quits because she need to take care of me and my brother)

Thanks! It's been a while since I've been to Disneyland, but I do remember thinking that Disneyland's Space Mountain was better than Disney World's.
cosmic rewind is very fun although the music is not made for the coaster like the music for rock 'n rollercoaster is
The term for rides like Dumbo, Triceratops Spin, Mad Tea Party , etc, etc, even though some « fly » are called flat rides.

When is the quietest time to visit WDW?
In terms of crowds? Late January/ early Ferburay, May (before Memorial Day), August, September (except for Labor Day weekend).
