Glad I found your channel. Im a kayak angler in the Tampa Bay area. Still haven't caught my first pompano lol. Normally I target redfish and trout but pompano have been on my radar.

That was a school of jacks, I fish out there all the time. They swim in circles with their fins out the water and it hard to get them to bite when they’re doing that. Nice video bro

@quang4055 Thanks bro! That did cross my mind but Ive never seen jacks act like that before. Thank for watching. 🤙🏾💯

I went there today for a couple hours with the goofy jig. Didn't get any bites

Ya, those were most likely jacks. They fight hard & are fun to catch. I've yet to eat one but they say the smaller ones are good. Cool video, by the way.

@slimpickins9124 Ya, it was cool to see em like that but also frustrating lol. I keep hearing that those were the perfect size to eat.. next time! Thanks for watching bro💪🏾

A few bonefish have been caught there but I think it was a ladyfish you lost in the beginning of the video

@wishinone That was my initial thought but after dissecting my footage it was confirmed a bonefish’

I'm hearing more and more that smaller jacks (under 30') are actually good eating...just saying...
