- The history of Bond and his famous martini, both in literature and cinema, is it Truth or Trope? The brands, the assembly methods, the quips...the product placement and the evolution of integrating brands into movies
The opinions expressed in this video are my own and are just opinions, not facts.

Another interesting video. Back in the day I was at a private fan event and we mixed the martinis according to Flemings recipe. I must say, that I did not really like it that much. I became a whisky man until the day I gave up on booze altogether. My new vice became tea, something James Bond would never drink. 😁
great video, but let's be real, product placement is as old as time. also it's quite quiet. other than that, really brilliant
@@JakeBodenhamer true, when I was researching it was claimed that Jules Verne was accepting cash to include shipping firms in his around the world in 80 days. And the early films had product placement but it was the fatty arbuckle film that really got the public’s attention… and Hollywood doesn’t usually share financial detail. Smirnoff was super prominent in dr no…to the point you have to think that there was a transaction.
You didn't mention the order of the Vesper in Casino Royale?
@@39Oranjes the vesper left me in a quandary, to be honest. It’s not technically a vodka martini as it has gin and lillet… since I was focusing on the trope I didn’t include the casino scene. Although ,because I’m wishy washy, I included the quantum clip….
I gotcha. 🤙🏽
