    Cool video. I'm a software engineer in Silicon Valley and I think actually the situation in the US is very similar. The jobs available here cover a wide range, from software contracting shops (similar to SI), finance, industrial/aerospace/medical, and then of course the "tech industry" which includes FAANG (also known as MANGA). You may not realize it but your advice is completely applicable in the US! However, I think the working culture in old US companies is probably still better than their equivalents in Japan.

    what about IT services like Cyber or cloud? will that fall into traditional or venture type? or the 2 types only apply for devs jobs but not infra type jobs?

      It is the venture type I think. Physical server staff is the traditional type.
