Is it only about material success or is it about adjusting & balancing one's Spiritual & Material Life 2. How does Maslow's SELF Actualisation principle work in one's life. Where are we in the hierarchy? We have seen umpteen examples of millionaire or billionaire's Envy during the dotcom & financial crisis 3. Different Strokes For Different Folks. We all have a unique DNA and hence unique ego-personality selves. Shouldn't we be cognizant of the Universal Laws of Nature (Inner Spirit - Law of Karma & SANSKARAS; & Outer Matter - Classical & Quantum Mechanics). The most important Law: the universal law of Nature is impermanence, CHANGE is the only permanent thing. 4. Compartmentalizing one's life doesn't work. Shouldn't we have a HOLISTIC perspective on Life, a top-down approach, working backward, from age 49-84 to age 1, in 7 buckets of 7-12 years each, as per Shakespeare's "Life is a stage" 5. DG has a huge house, what's his carbon footprint. Isn't simplicity and downsizing one's material aspirations, a better way of life, so that we protect the environment and our own health 6. In the current 21st century digital economy with disruptive technologies every 7 years, the importance of domain knowledge, networking & mentoring plays an important role. Don't we need both Spiritual & Material Mentors to guide our personal family life & professional work life 7. Unfortunately the Occidental West is too focused on Material Freedom or Security but hasn't figured out how to bring about Spiritual Freedom which is the main purpose of being BORN as a Human Being. So how does one bring about this balance of intuitive loving heart and analytical reasoning mind 8. We are privileged to live in this era due to access to infinite information or knowledge for All Concerned, but do we have the spiritual & material wisdom to live a life of contentment & equipoise, especially during the daily 16 hours of our waking state of consciousness. The Sleep State of daily 8 hours is effortless for people whose waking life is in equanimity. 9. As per Vipassana meditation practice we are the byproduct of our SANSKARAS (the most important Sanskrit word that one should be AWARE of). Good or Bad - ACTION of - thoughts, words or deeds create weak, strong, powerful impressions or imprints, respectively, in the mind or mental body. This determines the material DNA and the distinctive human ego-personality self. So there's nobody to blame except the EVOLUTION of Consciousness of our Soul SELF (from the inception of the BIG BANG) through different kingdoms such as mineral, plant, animal. Hence we carry the traits of the animal kingdom such as lust, greed, anger. YES - there is nobody to blame. As Human BEINGS (not "becomings") we are already there but not AWAKENED. Hence Reincarnation and INVOULTION of Consciousness is an important topic that all Human Beings should Be Self-Aware. 10. Finally what is the Purpose of Life? Is this the only birth or do we believe in reincarnation (like recycling or the first law of thermodynamics). What is the Real One quintessential question of Life? WHO AM I? What's Going On as Marvin Gaye sang. On a personal note having been born in India, and lived in NYC for 20 years, this jivatma dropsoul was privileged to not only retire early but also have the Divine Grace & Blessings of a Spiritual & Material MENTOR through Pete Townshend of THE WHO. I will give you a hint here. What or Who inspired Pete to compose the album TOMMY; and the song "Don't Worry Be Happy" by Bobby McFerrin.

Dean, I respect what you went through growing up. Living in a trailer park, sleeping in the bathroom to stay warm, walking to school cold, etc. It was a hard life for you and Tony Robbins! But I see a trend going on with all you incredible gurus. You all have this incredible do-or-die attitude in life which is so awesome! However, I grew up okay in a middle-class family. I didn't go through hardships like that. To me, I feel this is the problem with people like me. We don't have that tough growing up light our ass on fire feeling. We are lazy procrastinators. It is hard for me to get that attitude as I am doing okay. Maybe if I had gone through a hard life I would be jumping through hoops and working my butt off for success. Honestly, I don't push it as I could. How do I get your underdog passion??? I want it!!
Maybe you can get it for somebody else. Maybe you can take a trip and spend some time with people that truly Don't have the opportunities that you and I have, or they have those opportunities but are just so beat down that don't realize the opportunities they have . . . Maybe you can see and connect with them in such a way that you get motivated to put yourself in a position to be able to truly help them and many more like them . . .
