that’s a difficult question to answer because recovery means different things to different people depending on their hobbies, their work, whatever things that they do in their spare time.

Thanks for the short concise video. I’m just past 4 weeks post surgery. Coming along fine but need to give it time to heal. Can’t wait to get to the 12 week mark.
I'm at 11 weeks. It's rough especially the PT. You have to do your PT at home each day to break the scar tissue.
For me it was 3 months in a sling followed by 2 months physio before I could work again as a plumber.
how old were you ?
I just want too get back at work!
Im diabetic and I had the first rotator cuff surgery August 9th 2021 and it would never heal so they did a second MRI and put the medical dye in my shoulder and realized I had a second tear on another rotator cuff muscle and then had the second surgery October 3rd 2022 and now it’s approaching 2 years and 4 months since my accident,I’ve been at physio therapy 2 times per week and do the exercises at home ,I don’t think this is even going to heal , I feel lost and depressed over this injury and don’t have any hope of ever getting back to work , im screwed
Oh no. I’m diabetic and scheduled for rotator cuff surgery at the end of this month. I had a traumatic complete tear of two muscles on 3/25/23. I’ve been in pain and unable to lift my arm ever since. I don’t have a choice and hopefully it’ll heal.
@@PrettyPink7 have lots of painkillers on hand , voltaran cream , I had 2 rotator cuff surgeries and I went to my doctor and had sleeping pills prescription, hot packs ,cold packs , have a lazy boy recliner and lots of pillows, of course everyone is different, looking back and if I only knew how much pain I was going to be in and terrible broken sleep I would never of had the surgery at all , I had no pain before the surgery, only less range of motion, good luck to you Andrea
@@martinpaquet9958 i really wanna thank you for the advice. I have voltaren and ibuprofen 800mg now for the pain until they give me stronger medication. I have a recliner that I’m sleeping in off and on because of pain now. Thank you for the advice. If you think of anything else let me know. I’m sorry you’ve had such a painful and difficult experience. 😢
I need to return to my job (bus driver) in six weeks. My doctor seems to think this is possible.
I am looking at a year to recover. I will run out of short term in 3 months. Surgery is in one month. NO idea how I am supposed to afford the follow up visits and PT? No idea at all. After my short term runs out I will be discharged at the company it happened at.
Trust GOD. Have FAITH. Pray. And Believe. You will be alright.
Then you need a lawyer to sue the company where your injury occurred.
Time to get a lawyer
Does the pain I have in the middle of the night go away after surgery quickly
Has anyone else had problems with constipation after surgery?
It’s no picnic!
How about for Swimmers?
