Today we will be checking out the MÁV InterCity offering in 1st class between Budapest Nyugati and Debrecen. InterCity trains in Hungary are MÁV's premier and fastest service and these trains connect the capital with all major cities in the country... In this video you can see the experience from the passenger's point of view on this 220 km long journey that takes 2 hours and 28 minutes. Enjoy the video!

Can i get off in a station in the middle of the journey to look for an hour on a village and then taking the next train? Does this will cost me more?
I'm not sure, but I think yes, that's why it's better to take an interrail or eurail ticket (depending on whether you're from Europe or not) then you can break your journey as many times as you want and you have trains every hour on most lines in Hungary...
