Amid nationwide doctors' strikes following the rape and murder of a postgraduate trainee doctor at RG Kar hospital in Kolkata, Trinamool Congress MP Arup Chakraborty has warned doctors that “we will not save you” from public anger. Arup Chakraborty made the statement during a public rally in Bankura, West Bengal, on Sunday. “In the name of the movement, you may go home or go about with your boyfriend. She has delivered under supervision of 2 nurses and a junior doctor and thereafter was told healthy. It seems that thereafter unwanted operations were carried out by the so-called main doctor who came after the delivery, including Uterus Removal Operation, when imminent danger to life was present, without the consent and knowledge of the parents of the victim who were standing outside Operation Theatre the whole of night. State police does not register FIR against doctors whose correct names and details IMA & State Medical Association do not give for taking action.RTI chief does not order saying that I should gather them from IMA links from which one cannot easily get the details. How does a deceased woman who is often treated as a chattel in India will be expected to get justice ?

I think no Chief Minister contact the victims family within 2 days and offer the money instead of justice. TMC leaders also forget that Mamata Benerji is not only a C.M but also health Minister of the state.
