After all these years, Pro-DS is still one of the best de-essers out there. There has been a few new de-essers released that works as good or better (Sonible Smart:DeEss, iZotope RX De-Ess, HOFA IQ De-Esser, Soothe 2 etc), but Pro-DS is still the one that gets me the perfect result in the least amount of time and while using the least amount of CPU. It just works! Something I hope that they include in the next version is plosive removal/attenuation. Sonible was really smart to include that in Smart:DeEss. It wasn't enough for me to buy it, but it's really handy to have in a de-esser.
I think you misunderstood my comment. I was saying that I was surprised at how a well thought-out comment would be on RUclips. I agreed with what you said. It was a compliment and I wasn't being sarcastic if that's what you were thinking.
When do you guys do a multi perpose reverb plugin with chorus, phaser and flanger. Please make some creative plugins and come with steinberg cmc support. BTW you guys make excellent plugins.
Nice. But i would assume since the "Pro" plugins are for Mixing & Mastering, The Reveb unit would fall under Creative Effects like Saturn, Volcano and Timeless.... It'll probably be called : Airwave, Breathe, Void or Vacuum ...hehe ;)
Guys i have a stereo master recording with several songs that have the cymbals really sticking out badly in some songs. We didn’t catch that back when we recorded it, but now I really want to fix that out and remix the stereo files. Unfortunately I don’t have the stems anymore. Is this the right app to fix the cymbals issue? I also already have Pro MB and Pro Q2 but not this one. Please advise. Thanks in advance.
Ouch... Get your stems... And if you went to a studio and they wiped your stems never, ever go back! It's standard to hold onto stems for at least a year, and all relevant files for that matter. Otherwise some cleverness using dynamic EQ most likely. You cymbly couldn't say for certain without hearing a reference to know where the problem lies in the context of a full mix. But if you don't really know what you're doing you could easily make things much worse. I could think of a few ways I'd take on that problem but it depends on so many characteristics of the stereo mix that I couldn't offer specific advice. Anyway best of luck, unfortunately these are lessons we tend to learn the hard way...
sure i know the basics of delays - but cant get that working with the gui of timeless - tried at least 4 times. maybe invested not enough time to understand it how it works. powerful it is def with the mod part windows in the gui. but for just simple task it takes still a bit long to setup a 1/4 right and 1/8 left with normal feedback and maybe filter as the ableton ping pong delay does. well i had also zebrify which ahs a zebra2 delay in it - which was also sounding pretty good and was easy.

For pro-ds2 please add something like this: ruclips.net/video/Y3egyYcVtnY/видео.html A sidechain set to a frequency independent of what you actually want to deess. Deess 2-6k with sidechain set to 11k for example. :)
