Nothing more stupid than calling 2 people who fight each other “rightly guided”.
salam Sheikh! i heard the whole lecture and i find it very brief and lot of flaws which are not logical... i have few questions to ask if you dont mind.
1) firstly before i start i wanna say that we are talking about one of the most greatest personalities in history of islam which can't be reached or replaced, they are extra ordinary people with knowledge more than any muslim before and after and the most pious ones as well... they cant be taken for granted as they are normal people who can be tricked or played.
2) why talha and zubair pledge to huzarat ali and than went to makkah to hazarat ayesha, why they didnt inform hazarat ali about it? they were not doing anything wrong?
3) the barking dog incident, you never finish the whole thing prophet mohammad(PBUH) told his wives you just briefly said and carried on... and u make it sound like zubiar make hazarat ayesha ignore prophet mohammad(PBUH) words and go with him.
4) None of the parties try to find out the truth till the last minute before war... why?
when none of them hate each other. and you said hypocrite shoot arrows and no one notice... Sheikh in war armies are more active than normal, there were no guards?
5) The Biggest thing i couldn't understand is that why they never sit face to face and talk, when there was no issue(messengers are used when there is a issue to fight on)
okay if they dont wanna sit than why they never write letters(which were very common in these day "i am assuming that")
please note: The above questions purely personal based are just to clarify my thoughts... no intention of harming or questioning anyone feelings or faith.

Adnan Malik your first point, 'they cannot be taken as people who can be tricked or played' there were munafiq within their empire at the time and Prophet SAW warned them that fitan would arise, so yes they are not average people but they are still humans, they do not have ultimate knowledge of everything, so indeed they can be tricked, by the will of Allah if Allah decreed such tests were going to arise then of course they will arise. It does not mean their rank is any less.
There are some very dark, bitter and painful pages in early Islam, that some Muslims on purpose do not wish to entertain.
More particularly what happened immediately after the death of the Messenger of Allah SAS, first regarding the Rightful Successor - Khalifa, Ali Ibn Abu Talib AS, and the rights of Fatima AS, and indeed the Blessed Household of the Messenger of Allah SAS thereafter. THAT WAS THE FIRST FITNA! WHO CAUSED IT AFTER THE MESSENGER OF ALLAH SAS MADE IT CLEAR IN THAQALAIN, MUBAHALA, KESA AND GHADEER?
How sad and distressing. I just hope that whatever is the truth, it comes to light, and Allah swt knows best, and justice be done. BLATANT LIES AND FABRICATIONS WILL NEVER SUCCEED! ALSO, WHY WAS UTHMAN RA KILLED? FRAUD! THE THREE HATED ALI AS AND AHLUL BAIT & THOUSANDS OF MUSLIMS WERE KILLED IN THE BATTLE OF THE CAMEL AS A RESULT.
They try to just dismiss all these heinous and murderous acts by saying ohh but tHeY wErE JuSt HuMaN…
These were criminals who killed each other and waged war on each other m. Destroyed families, shed innocent blood, destroyed thousands of lives.
OPEN YOUR EYES PEOPLE. You have been misled!!! These people were criminals of the worst kind. THEY STARTED ARGUING OVER KHILAFA BEFORE THE PROHET EAS EVEN BURIED! And did NOT attend his funeral
He didnt comment on some of the issues that we can regard as mistakes on their part eg. Aisha (ra) continuing to Iraq, because he was not going through who was right or wrong, may Allah forgive us. Try to understand he was giving a historical account of events not defaming sahabi and who did what. Regardless of who made mistakes, they are all still beloved to Allah and way above what any of us could dream to be so there is really no need for him to elaborate. It is a sign of respect and we should be the same. Even the Prophets (take Prophet Yunus for example) had moments where we could interpret was not the best action does that mean we slander the Prophets and say he was right or wrong? We have to be very careful in our attitude. Allah protect us.
Sama r There is a difference between not choosing the best of actions and making a grave mistake like going to war. Adam (as) ate from the tree, it wasn’t haram it just wasn’t the best of actions. When the Prophet (saw) tells his Wives not to be of the ones who hear the barking of the Dogs of Hoab you still continue? You disobey the Prophet (saw)?
mA the killed and the killer will both be in Jannah? Great logic.

Dear Shaykh. If the Khalifah gives an order how can anyone disobey, and still be classed as righteous?

Following Uthman’s murder Zubayr approached Ayesha in Makka and said ‘Look they have made ‘Ali Khalifa. She said, What right does ‘Ali have to rule over our necks? I will not stay in Madina as long as ‘Ali is in power”.
In Rauzatul Ahbaab, Volume 3 page 65, we read that:
“After the Battle of Jamal, Ali approached Ayesha and said: ‘You have treated me like an enemy’”.
We also read in Rauzat ul Ahbaab, Volume 3 page 10 that:
“Ayesha was clouded by her hatred of Ali”.
The stars protect the inhabitants of earth against drowning, and my Ahl alBayt protect my nation against dissension. If a tribe among the Arabs differs from them, they will all then differ and become the party of Satan.”
al-Hakim on page 149, Vol. 3, of Al-Mustadrak from Ibn `Abbas. Al-Hakim adds: “This is an authentic hadith though they (both Shaykhs, i.e. Bukhari and Muslim) did not include it (in their own books).”
We Muslim dont care what happen in history As long As we have Allah swt and the Qur-An and Muhammad saw and his Sunnah and hadith in Sha Allah we go to Jannah all together. because this fitna history is only a test for us Muslim. And what is the moral lesson in this history that Allah swt want us to know is?
The moral lesson in this history is try to love your muslim brother/Sister and try to forgive no matter what he/her have done to you.
May Allah swt make us one of the True believer and keep us away from the hassad. Allahuma Ameen.
Funny the Quran is full of history
Doesn't work like that. Throughout the entire Quran or even the reasons for some of the revelations of some Suras in the Quran was to show the people what happened before them and to remind the prophet (s) that other prophets (peace be upon every single one of them) had to endure similar difficult times like our prophet (s). Saying that the history is a test for us is correct, but completely ignoring it and let falsehood live on is how you would fail the test.
