Hey absolutely! And they did. It is for additional accessory lighting. I ended up putting shrink wrap on it,since I’m not going to use it soon. No instructions were sent over. But I covered as much as I could within the video.👍🏽

You will most likely get water in your car from cutting the rubber electrical housing between the hatch and the car.
You’re right, I will have to find a work around or order a new gasket from Toyota
