My brain is still wired to construct sentences in the Spanish order. It also involves using a lot of passive voice, because that's how Spanish is.

As I can see you have read many books and I fully agree with on Reading. When you are reading any article, English goes to your mind naturally, the patterns, the phrasal verbs, etc. and after reading if you use what you have read in real life, it absorbs in your mind. Reading is a powerful tip for improving Speaking skills. I appreciate that. Thumbs up!
Cheers! P.$. Where are you from?

You are an inspirational to all of us who want to learn or improve their English language. And it is really amazing how your journey of learning has taken you to that level of English.
The one thing that I take with me is "being able to use, practice and produce the language- and I totally agree with you, learning unconsciously is equally important to going to classes or learning from a tutor. In fact, I have been focusing on learning from language learning books, attending English courses and memorising vocabulary, but your journey of learning is a clear proof that the combination of traditional learning ways and immersing yourself with the language unconsciously are equally significant.
By the way, if you could a little bit improve your pronunciation of the letter W, that would almost make you like a native speaker.
And Thank you for your valuable advice and tips.

One thing that I am unsure is how will reading help some to improve their speaking skis, except than improving vocabulary. Even the vocabularies used in writing are rarely used in speaking. It is common to use phrasal verbs and informal language when speaking, whereas you avoid being too informal, and overly using of phrasal verbs in writing.
On the other hand, I think listening to native people, podcasts, movies, radios and watching english TV improve significantly to your speaking. Reading will improve your writing skills as well as your reading skills, and your overall level of the language.

Cara, achei legal como vc consegue se expressar bem, eu tenho que aprender mt ainda, eu consigo conversar com os outros, mas tem assuntos que n vai, tipo assuntos voltado pra área de saúde, assuntos relaciona a física, eu vou entender minimamente quando se trata de assuntos voltados pra coisas com termos mais difíceis, mas quando fala de assuntos com um vocabulário mas de boa, eu acredito q talvez consiga até conversar.

The best advice I can give is to practice continuously with a solid plan. Consistency is key! Set achievable goals, immerse yourself in the language, and don’t hesitate to speak with others. Remember, making mistakes is part of the learning process, so embrace them and keep pushing forward!🌱💫

Special Comment: I hope you take my words, because I think they can help you. I don't know where you are living at this time, but please don't tell me, but your situation would be very different if you lived in California because it is nothing but English when you live here in this State. I personally believe that you need to come to California, and you need to speak English 100 percent of the time with the population that lives here. I think your English can improve 75 percent for the better. I am being honest in what I say. I hope you can come here [to California]. Yes, the State is very different but it's special. I think you can like it here, a lot. I agree that it is expensive to live here, but it's worth it. Take care! I know that you can get better in the language [of English]. October 2024, USA
