- When first starting the game, the Prince can seem incredibly hard to counter especially when paired with a Bomber or Giant. If your first epic is a witch, she's the perfect one to counter the prince. If you don't have or use the witch, you can aggro the prince with Archers, Skeletons, Melee Goblins, and Spear Goblins.

The he said me too lol I'm in legendary arena 3200+ now using trifecta all my rares (the ones I use) except pump are LVL 7 poison LVL 3 fire spirits cannon zap LVL 9
Skeleton army best counter now since they are only 3 elixer.

@@Rich-xb4jb no he has to charge for at least 3-4 seconds for the full damage output to work.
He only made the sound effect and did regular damage. This means that OJ managed a frame-perfect defense in the video, where the Prince took as long as possible to connect without charging.
Now in 2021 u see my man flying with his videos and has millions of subscribers.....proud of u OJ :)

How to own the prince: This only works if you have sparky. Step 1. Deploy the sparky while the prince is charging.
Step 2. The enemy rage quits.
That is how to own the prince with sparky.

Sam It's an easier way to take the prince out. Dark prince and guards are an entirely different story.

I counter prince with zap + skeletons or with a tombstone
But i dont see prince very often in legendary arena

I usually use the army of skeletons
most high-level or even middle level players don't use the skeleton army, meaning you need other things to counter, because a lot of people bring arrows or zap into any deck
Ivan Jocic yep, prince bomber, prince valkyrie, and higher up there's double prince. you can also hover arrows and zap for those smaller troops.

I've honestly would not be where I'm at right now in the game if I didn't watch OJ. I've learned so much watching these videos even years after the video is uploaded.
You learned how to waste life and you really didn't learn anything.
You should also tell them how even if the prince has got to the tower and started damaging the tower, small troops like goblins, skeletons or even whatever can be placed in between the prince and the tower during one of the delays between his hits and the prince will re target on to the new troop. You should have really included it, Orange Juice.

But prince will still be able to take down Bandit and half the HP of tower

Prince is now a melee attacker, it no longer has 2.5 range

The prince has a range because of his weapon. the weapon is a little long so he can like "poke" the tower just a little further from your tower

I use The Deck: Skeleton Army; Prince, Baby Dragon (Switched it up with a Dark Prince); Bomb Tower; Musketeer; Minion Horde; Meele Goblins; Arrows. Do you see any flaws in this Deck or have suggestions, which Card I could swap out? Ps: I just subscribed you today because I saw, that Molt liked your Videos and in my opinion you're the Most skilled Player in Clash Royale, that I have Heard of. (Chief Pat is also good)
You have a well rounded deck. Minion or Skeleton army will bait arrows. Depends on the league you're in. If you find you're facing opponents with multiple crowd counters, such as arrows, princess, zap, or wizard. You can switch skeleton army for skeletons.
If executed properly, you can defend against a solo hog, prince, Pekka, Minion Horde, etc. or cycle your hand for 1 elixir.

Thank you! Im currently in Arena 7 and have already thought of switching Skeletons against Skeleton Army. Another Question: Which is better? Dark Prince or Baby Dragon? I just got The Dark Prince and I find it very similar to The Baby Dragon... Which should I choose?
+Frederick Feldmann random guy here giving opinion haha, but between the two i'd prefer baby dragon. If you find yourself needing an extra tank against melee units then perhaps you might find dark prince useful, but in general I find dragon more useful due to the fact that you can position it in more ways since it's airborne. Honestly, until cards are fairly high leveled which is tough with epics especially for f2p players, for those two, I'd go with whichever one is higher leveled. Even then, aside from charge/speed and the situational shield advantage, the valkyrie can actually provide a similar role to the dark prince, and is easier to level because it's a rare, not epic.
YuenYun Thanks a lot! Over the time I could see from my 2. Account, that Dragon is more useful because you can combine him in many different pushes. I have been using double prince for a pretty long time now (after the nerf) and i don´t think that they´re that effective for 9 elexir. Gonna be using the Dragon now... Thanks for the long and constructive comment! :) You seem to be pretty good @ this game...

tombstone is a mainstay in my deck for countering prince and hog so easily.
You should put it in the middle of your field so the prince is distracted and takes more time to come back for a attack meaning more time for u to deploy troops or for the prince to take enough damage then dies

Bruh xbow is so easy to counter, you must be getting trolled by higher levels trolling with xbow
maybe , cuz i kept facing lvl 8 xbow with lvl 11,13 players
Keep smarmy if x bow is alone or use rocket or fireball if troops are there near it

I like to use cards that can swarm an enemy, like the Minion Hoard or the Skeleton Army to counter it because the prince has a slow attack speed and the troops can do a lot of damage in a fast amount of time.

Hi Yarn, I have one input for the content. It's when the Prince is hitting an almost dying tower, you can save the tower using giant to remove the Prince target from the tower to the Giant. That may save a game. Thank you.
if you place it wrong, the prince can still get one shot off because he's a ranged troop

ive used tombstone seince i ever got it. i can't stress how good it is against prince. if you place it first, a skeleton will stop the charge. so your tombstone can survive 2 attacks, creating 1 or 2 skeltons while the prince is agroed to your tombstone. then, it explodes. 4 skeletons. so good.

If the prince is already hitting your tower you can also place troops between him and the tower and it will divert his attacks from the tower.

another useful tip. If the prince has reached the tower then you can place a tombstone on top of him touching the tower. The tombstone will push the prince back forcing him to re-target the tombstone. This works with princes but not hogs.
you can do the same thing with almost any troop i personally use goblins or barbs

OJ for the prince if he gets to your tower and you have a tank or someone with a lot of hp place it where he is standing in his tile it push him back and distrack him so you xan get more elixer and push him or kill him

there was this dude who put a giant down right when the battle started and a couple seconds later a mini Pekka I countered it with a skeleton army so I had a 6 elixir advantage and he did it with the giant again and put more than just the mini Pekka and with the troops that were left from the defense i turned it into a counter attack wich felt AWSOME!!!
A real easy way to counter the prince is to place skeletons to distract him, and while he's distracted place a knight to finish him off
