since these are DYNAmax instead of GIGANTAmax battles, the limit per battle is 1 lobby, so only 4 players. but with right counters, it can be done with two players. so it should be easy as long as two people bring with them right counters and then other two can for example bring out whatever they want and mainly cheer. so nowhere near as hard as the Gigantamax battles were, not even though these are legendary Pokemon.
Max people is 4. Went out with my and my friend. I used Max Guard blastoise. Never died. Friend used Spirit Heal blastoise also never died. Carried everyone who raided with us since they brought stuff like wooloos and unevolved charmanders and even machops. So I assume it could be trioed much more easily. Only spanner in the works was one Articuno randomly had rock type hidden power which one shot some people's fire pokemon. So Toxtricity is probably the best DPS option. For people that didn't make the max hour I wouldn't worry too much. After 7pm I noticed like every 3rd power stop was an articuno.
Just got back from mine a small while ago, caught only 4, with my best one being a 14/14/12, so I used loads of rare candies - 350 - and 40 rare XL candies to fully power up it's max attack move and give it a 2nd attack and power it up it's CP to as high as normal candies will bring it, to just over 3000, so am very happy now with this one now, those things are tough af aswell
Did 2, used 4 (max of 4 per fight) it was easy with 2 good players and 2 average. Had 1 player not get their second even with all balls being excellent throws
I did Buch of Gmax toxi during the Event and without transfer any, so everyday do 5-6 Dmax raid and slot in the Toxi to collect candies, so u get a lot candies before any Gmax/Dmax event happen u will have a lot candies to spend on Toxi
As an Aussie that already participated, if you don't care for time used and are a tryhard / don't have a big community, go for the duo. If you want a good time then minimum 3 people recommended 4. All youtubers are talking about dps and don't talk enough about tank. Highly recommend GMax laporas . If Articuno doesn't have ancient power you're good to go probably not having to use more than 1 Pokemon (laporas)
@davidcalixte9785 Lapras resists ice attack 4x. So if you get an Articuno that uses ice attack for both its fast and charged attacks, Lapras will not take much damage. This allows you to buy the Max meter, and when you enter the Max phase of the battle, you switch to a Pokémon that can deal more damage on Articuno. After the Max phase, switch back to Lapras. If the Articuno has other types of attack, you can always leave the battle and relobby to reroll it's attacks. I saw a video on RUclips of someone soloing Articuno with 2 Lapras and 1 Toxtricity, against an Articuno that only used ice attacks. But Dyanamax Metagross is good too. It resists Articunos attacks too, though not as much as Lapras against ice attacks. And Metagross can deal more damage than Lapras
@@RyanRist2123 yes I've discussed in the past that you don't really want to power up Dynomax Machamp. Where can I get Gigantamax Machamp... but you can use that Stardust and Candy if you want, also it's not even that good of a counter for it.
I just tried it for an hour and wasn't able to complete it, basically solo (myself with really good counters, my second account with sub-par counters). I managed to get it down to below halfway, so yeah definitely doable with 2 people if they have actually decent counters I used level 50 metagross, with 2A, 3D, 3HP, charry 3A, 2D, 2HP, and excadrill 3A, 3D, 3HP, and my second account had 3 mons at over 2500cp with level 1 attack only
These are a no for me winter has decided to stay and with me being a solo player I can't do anything higher than 1 star Dynamax battles but I did 4 shadow Ho-Oh raids caught 3(1 of the 3 I caught was the shiny) but I'm investing my time in building pokemon for raids in scarlet and violet

To answer your question it’s pretty much a waste of time and a money-grab that they wouldn’t let us dynamax our already caught pokemon. For now you aren’t missing a single thing by not participating, except a dynamax dex entry that doesn’t even reward you with clothing.
Catch first dynamax from quest. Than get another one from dynamax battle (1 star). Farm particles. You got now timed research, where they give you another dynamax mons.

You only have 25 guaranteed traded. Every player has a hidden counter with guaranteed lucky trades. Every time you do one, you both get +1 to your counter. If one of you are under 25 you get the lucky guaranteed and both of your counters get +1, even if it is over 25, so when they raise the amount again (lets say by 10) you are not automatically given 10 extra guaranteed traded. If your counter is a 28, you only get 7 that you can trigger.
He raids a lot. That's the main way to get candies. Otherwise do routes. Though that's a hated system unfortunately. My advice is just get your daily raids in

I think it's a flub and supposed to be 6am-9pm, the normal hours for doing DMax battles.

Machamp has bullet punch and rock slide or stone edge as well for dps. However, would get wrecked by a hurricane 😂
