From experiance I can tell you, I felt the same way in cities 1. Saw youtubers making epic builds. I tryed it myself. It is steap learning curve, but sooner or later you learn tricks, than with many tools it becomes even easyer. In cities 1 has that mod in it, it is only a mater of time before cities 2 gets it. pretibial objects. You only need a handfull of mods to make epic builds, move it mod, pretibial objects mod, find it mod, than you need a beefy ram and download a ton of assets. It is not there yet in cities 2. But it is in cities 1. I recommend get cities 1 and this mods, get a feel for it, than once cities 2 has all the mods. Get that. The experiance you gain from the first game, it is not that far off in the second game. Almost forgot cities 1 you what to get precision engineering mods and traffic mods.
@@EcardEcardian That's a good suggestion thanks. Vanilla cs1 honestly looks really bad but with some mods definitely some cool things you can build. cs2 has massively improved since I last played but I'm mostly just waiting for custom assets+some performance improvements... my pc gets upto some dangerous temps lol.
Thank you! It'll look pretty cool coming from that crater entrance. Also, from that big arterial running the lenght of the map, I'm looking forward to seeing that vista come into play 😊👍
Very smooth mate! Those rail grades are a joy to my heart... scope for a huge railyard on that island too: combination of train, metro and tram possibly.
Sometimes I feel this game needs to change name into motorway builder. Because it is awesome and easy to bloob out motorways. I normally build spagetti road networks. This motorway is really nice and clean.
Thank you! Motorway builder? I'd play that! Tbh, when CS2 was launched, I wasn't having that much fun playing vanilla, so ended up just building interchanges, I had a great time. 😂 Have you seen the upcoming game Junxions? Looks really interesting.
I think Germany's biggest intersection, the Sonnborner Kreuz in the city Wuppertal, is really cool, but I'm not sure if there's a situation where you would need that.
@piccana_ I recently started watching your videos because I finally made the decision to get myself CS2, and I love seeing that you reply to so many of the comments on your video! But concerning the intersection, as the germans say: "You have it on your radar now" in the case that there's ever a situation where you'd need it.
I found a service interchange in my city’s downtown being inadequate for the traffic volumes. I was searching all over for a type of free-flowing service interchange-this downtown distributor being exactly what I was looking for.
Let's hope it works ok 😂 Yeah, it was a really nice find, then sticking a trumpet with a few extra connectors kinda makes it an 5 way interchange. Happy building if you give it a go. If you want a closer look, make sure you grab the game save. I'll have it open to everyone next weekend. 😊👍
Cheers Tim. The Jane Byrne is high on my list! Don't worry, I fully plan on getting onto it. It'll be a live stream one. Then I'll try and get a video out of it. It shouldn't be too bad to do. But it's all the surrounding roads that will be the tough, time consuming bit. Can't have it as a standalone interchange really. 😊👍
@@piccana_ cheers mate! Nice can't wait! Awesome sauce hopefully I'll be able to join the stream if it's during the week since I work weekends. Hopefully you can do it!!! 😁
Cheers mate. No, definitely not. I'll be getting back into it shortly. I got loads of custom assets to play with from Harbourmasterjay which has opened up lots of options. I just really wanted to get all that infrastructure done for Cape Lomond and get the game save available for everyone 1st. 😊👍
Will you be doing a lot of high rises and stuffon near and close to the highways? In a japan style i mean. Or will it be something more like how it is in europe with ring roads? I’d really like to see lots of development near them. I know that’s not the nicest thing to build but i’m just asking🤔
I honestly don't know yet exactly how it's going to look. Probably be medium density neighbourhoods out here near the interchange. The really tall buildings, I'll probably have over towards the transit hub. But I dunno, I need to have a sit down and plan something out. I've got a one-off Japanese build coming in the next few weeks. It's looking like a bit of an epic, so keep an eye out for that 🎌 👍
@@piccana_i just heard you say american and my heart dropped since basically all of them are one big highway belt with everything dense in the center. Well if you wanna do that go ahead, but i won’t say no to any dense builds either.
watching these videos really makes me want to pick the game back up... then I remember I can't even build 1% of what you can lol
I promise you, you can. If you need any help when you pick it back up again, just give me a shout ☺️👍
@@piccana_ haha youre too nice mate, ill definitely keep that in mind. Look foward to seeing how the city progresses 👍👍

Loving how the city is progressing! Excited to see that skyline build up in the future. Will look incredible from the pov of that interchange

Beastly interchanges! I did not see that elevated rail line coming. 😅
Cheers mate. Yeah, why not! 😂
@@piccana_ build the city of your dreams! 😅
I’m remaking Dallas and Dallas has really complicated interchanges, this is really helping me. Thanks
Nice one. Glad you found it useful. The Dallas highway network would be a challenge to do. Have fun with it 👍
I keep watching these and enjoying the build the whole time. Looking forward to the rest of the build. You are drastically underwatched.
Thanks for watching, glad your enjoying them 😊👍
Beautiful work!
Cheers Ryan! Appreciate it bud. 😊👍

Not gonna lie, I'm scared of the train police 😂 Wasn't sure if 1.3% was going to be too steep 🚂🚨
@@piccana_ 1.3% is super fine fella! 3.1% for freight might be tricky but should be OK for passenger traffic.
@@tigonologdring9189 Sweet! I had 1% in my head for some reason
Love watching your city take shape - looking good mate!
Cheers Matt, made a good bit of progress recently 😊👍
The interchange between H201, H1, and H3 in Hawai'i is definitely worth a look at.
Been looking at that for the last 20 minutes 😂 What an absolute banger of an interchange. Thanks for sharing, that's going straight in the notes 🙌👍
Damn that's what I call a mega spaghetti junction project ha ha love it. 👍😊
Haha. Cheers mate 😊👍
It's such a pleasure watching your content, since my PC is unavailable to run CS2 finely. Thx
Thank so much! Hopefully you can get on CS2 soon. ☺️👍
This interchange looks insane 😉😉🤣🤣 well done pic! looking good as always.
Cheers Broon!! 😊👍

For the tunneling under water, maybe try making something like the Oresund Bridge/tunnel
I have something in mind similar. Had a bit of a practice this week, but it'll take an age to make. So obviously, I'm gonna have to do it. 😂
Great job the build came out great! Still waiting for you to do the Jane burne interchange 😢

Which map is this?
Hi. This is Sunshine Peninsula, it's a base game map, but I've hollowed out the big plateau to make a crater. 👍

My small country euro brain can't fathom the amount of roads going on 😭
It can definitely get confusing 😂😂
