I’m crazy serious! I know you’ve both been so incredibly busy and rest is very much needed, but do you think Claudia or yourself would consider a behind the scenes/mini tutorial of some sorts? It’s pretty random and not sure if it fits with your theme of things but the journalism aspect is brilliant. I’m sure you credit that to your interviews but I wonder how it comes together. It’s unique. It’s fresh. It’s of like a book that you find an “easy read” is enjoyable. I’m so at home with your channel because how easy you both make it to experience your own personal world!

I'm glad you had a positive experience with the monkeys. One stole the glasses of my dad's head when we were in Indonesia and it was actually a pretty scary time! (He eventually got them back, thank goodness.)

Thanks, I will probably never get to Malaysia, but your trip and filming really were a joy ! Seeing the countryside, the food, etc. was new. I do Not think my limited palate would try some of the dishes (saliva !! fish sausage !) but the crab would be a delight ! Just fun to see you two explore, and it was exploring since you didn't seem to know where you were at any given moment ! lol

You on your Diet Coke search! It breaks my heart! And Vanilla Coke. Bla !! I feel your pain though and I suffer in the heat. It’s just unbearable and when you have very low tolerance but in such an amazing place, it’s a huge battle. Least you got to see adorable little monkeys !
Watching Idiot Abroad with Karl pilkington was probably the average experience because they raided him. Haha. The stair journey made me most nervous.

monkey mountain's actual name is bukit (hill) melawati .... you'll find the selangor royal maosoleum at the foot of it ..it is the seat of the selangor sultan before the 1800s when it was then moved to Klang.....
Loved this video. Monkeys were cute. I’m with Claudia though, they scare me a bit. Biting and scratching. FYI, several times I have liked your videos, then when I choose to rewatch them, the like has disappeared. I just like it again, and hope this doesn’t diminish the number of likes you have. YES! I knew I watched you for a reason! (not just all the wonderful videos and beings that you are!) But when you said the other bite should be Susan I died. A friend and I say "dammit Susan!" when ever something bad happens because I it always is a Susan... even if it wasn't a person and just an object or something that happened, it is Susan.

How easy would travelling around Malaysia be for a vegetarian? Because of your restricted diet, I wondered about being a vegetarian there xx

Like are language barriers as issue? It seems like it is very easy to get around with English, but I still wonder.
Especially things like broths and sauces, like many people either don't consider meat broth to be non vegetarian or just forget about it or something like fish sauce.
I would want to try so many things, but then would be a bit afraid of accidentally eating something I wouldn't want to 😅
@@SmilyLily1996 language barrier is not as huge as an issue. Malaysians in urban places (even villages or small towns) know a bit of simple English as we were once colonised by the British. Unless you're going to a tribal village, using simple English shouldn't bring about any issues. As for vegetarian meals, there is a strong vegetarian culture in many places (mostly for religious purposes). Some Buddhists here do practice a strict non-meat diet and you could just ask around. However, a lot of the best foods here will contain some form of meat.
I hope that gives you an insight into things. ☺️

I don't think Talc Powder is good for you, I use to use it a lot as well but then I found out it could be harmful. Hate to be that person who comments "actually ___ is bad for you" but just thought I'd mention it. Corn starch is a good replacement. Love your videos :)
