Interesting reading the comments on this thread. I own several Roland keyboards (JD800, Juno Di, VR09, Gaia SH-01 and a vintage JX8p). I purchased a Go Piano as a rehearsal keyboard for a band I play in, and to experiment with MIDI over Bluetooth with my iPad. It serves both these purposes really well. Mine has no issues, and the sound quality is more than adequate for the price. It is completely unrealistic to expect a weighted (piano action) keyboard at this price point. Not as good as some of my other Roland machines, but they all cost a lot more. This is an entry level machine, and Roland have marketed it as such. I am happy with mine.
I bought one of these, but it had a couple defective keys. (A note would occasionally play, extremely loud, AFTER you lifted your finger.) I exchanged it, but the replacement keyboard was defective too. (It had at least one or two keys that wouldn't respond to a light touch - noticeable during normal playing.) So I gave up on this model. I wanted to like it, the concept is good, the bluetooth features worked properly. To anyone who asks - these keys don't feel like a piano - they are synthesizer keys. The display is backlit with a bright light and you can't turn it off or reduce the brightness. This makes it annoying to play in a dimly lit room - also the control buttons are touch sensitive, easy to press by mistake, they are located right next to the keys, so I hit them by accident with my left hand sometimes. And they're hard to find in the dark (you can't feel them and they're not lighted).
Thanks for the suggestion. I tried that on both keyboards before returning them, but it didn't help. Maybe it was just a bad batch. I'll try a different keyboard instead.
hey i had similar problem with you , i just connected to ac adaptor more than 1 hour and it work ok now ! maybe it is related to battery inside the machine ... if you buy first , just connect it to ac power for an hour
thanks! it really looks cheap, the build I mean, the concept is really good, a light portable piano, but for some reason I mistrust this model it looks flimsy
Great Demo! However, a lot of the comments below seem to indicate too many issues for the price. Undecided, because it does sound good on this video (which I know aren't played through the speakers).
Gracias.
Do you recommend that piano or suggest to buy Yamaha P45 for example? Sounds lovely and I'm really surprised, but I'm not sure if build quality is good.
Very Helpful! Thanks for sharing this. P. S. - How are the built in speaker? Is it loud enough for jamming with fellow musicians in a hall/room? Thanks!
Hi Benjamin Cerpa I have the same question, is this a good piano for starting? Does it have weighted keys or hammer action, a good touch sensation ? How does it compare to a Yamaha P45 or a NP32 or even a Korg B1 ?
From what I read on the comments in Thai language. The key is very light. Lighter than what so call Semi-weight on other stage pianos. So, imo, it might not be good for those beginners who still need to develop finger muscle. Yamaha P45 surely has much better touching. NP32 and Korg B1, I have no idea since I have never tried them.
Benjamin Cerpa I have tried it today and it seems like it is more like a keyboard. The keys are not very weight (are more weight than some keyboards), but that is worth it if what you want is portability (B1 weights almost 4 times more than go:piano).
Hi, pianofortissimo. Please tell me: is this keys feel comparable with other keys on the market (on weight aspect)? For example Yamaha NP-12, Casio CTK-6250, Roland JUNO-DS61. Is this lighter or weighter then other synth keys? Thanks.)
the concept is good but the quality is very debatable, I wanted to like it but it looks flimsy and the sound is just average, for a Roland I find that unacceptable, I have a Roland FP 30 and a Juno Di so I know the brand
I'm very disappointed. I have a FP 50 which is great so I expected much better from Roland. To many cons: The speaker sound is poor. The keyboard is too soft for a piano feel; When I play piano with sustain pedal there are ghost notes (expect un upgrade to solve that); Has no dual or split function and it could have much more sounds; It´s ugly and expensiv for the bug.The only pros are the portability, the bluetooth and some quality sounds.

Roland’s Go keyboard are great. I hope they improve the quality of their keybed. There seems to a lot of report on defect keys.

ClassicGarth download the update to version 1.06 and change piano touch in settings to light

ternitamas oops ithink its not battery problem its hardware problem so i returned it t.t waiting for new one now but it sounds goood imo
greats sounds piano

you have a nice touch....how do you judge the quality of the sounds on the Go Keys.? thanks for your honest response....

European Piano 1:18 Go Grand 2 1:49 Mellow Grand 3:03 FM Chorus EP 7:25 is My favorite 👍👍👍
Does this have a good hammond b3 sound like Gregg rolie from Santana and a good grand piano and fender Rhodes for jazz
Is the Go piano sound more clear than the Go keys?
Go piano focuses in high end Roland line products voices, as Go keys focuses in low end keyboard/synth voices.
@@evertonfrancisco9149 Thank you. 🤜🤛
Thanks a lot man...great sound
" Very Nice" Good little demo' ( I love the " phrase "E P piano -could play that "all day" -cheers to you - from ,Wales England .
madjazzmike what's with all the quotation marks?
How does it stands against yamaha np 12. I am thinking to get one of these two.
Vedran Žilić piano feel is missing in this KB
Vedran Žilić look at the Yamaha Reface CP.
Nice demo. T Hanks.

Parabens!!!
great video, I was wondering if it is true that the go piano keys are fragile and become uneven over time
Rubyknow
Go Piano ต่างกับ Go Key อย่างไรบ้าง ?
Very Helpful!
Thanks for sharing this.
P. S. - How are the built in speaker? Is it loud enough for jamming with fellow musicians in a hall/room?
Thanks!
only if they keep their breath
Very beautiful musics, can you also upload the notes?🙂
Glad to hear your sound tests. Name song of 4:27 (Go Grand + Pad)?
Hey Man, What cable did you used? Is it Ts or Trs on both plugs going to amplifier?
Powerfull
How come it does not sound convincing? It's a Roland so it should sound better.
PeterDad60 it’s an entry level keyboard. Sound quality is fine for what it is.
GO Piano กับ GO Keys ราคาต่างกันไหมครับ
would you recommend to buy this keyboard?

This was a very good and informative video. Thank you! But I got to say this keyboard sounds really bad for Roland standards.
Jay Sunday Channel
