The judge took into account all of her actions throughout the case. He most decidedly took into account her complete lack of remorse and if she posed a threat to the public.

I think that Judge Kraynick did the right thing here by not making any other statements of an opinion nature about her sentence - she has absolutely nothing to use against the judge in an appeal, and we all know she will appeal - The fact that in her speech she continues to blame everyone else and lie her face off about DV - perhaps judge Kraynick realized that anything he would say to Sarah would never land and only give her potential ammo down the road, so he chose not to waste his time
I agree. While it would have been very satisfying for the "onlookers", and probably the family, to hear him give her a piece of his mind, I think he said everything he needed to say in his short and succinct sentencing. He's a class act; polite but decisive and not one to engage in drama or theatrics (unlike her). Plus, as you said, anything else would have fallen on deaf ears.

I think that Judge Kraynick did the right thing here by not making any other statements of an opinion nature about her sentence - she has absolutely nothing to use against the judge in an appeal, and we all know she will appeal - The fact that in her speech she continues to blame everyone else and lie her face off about DV - perhaps judge Kraynick realized that anything he would say to Sarah would never land and only give her potential ammo down the road, so he chose not to waste his time
I agree. While it would have been very satisfying for the "onlookers", and probably the family, to hear him give her a piece of his mind, I think he said everything he needed to say in his short and succinct sentencing. He's a class act; polite but decisive and not one to engage in drama or theatrics (unlike her). Plus, as you said, anything else would have fallen on deaf ears.
I'm so glad she didn't take the plea deal. She deserves life in prison.

Refusing a 15-year plea deal, was a simple example of her arrogance. She was exercising her power by keeping her man locked in a suit case. She exercised her power by getting rid of seven or more defense attorneys. Her refusal of a plea deal was also an exercise of her power. This case even made her feel like she was a social media celebrity. Now she will feel power in strutting her little bird legs around a Florida penitentiary.
